Shades of Blue...

Lana Del Ray is almost a perfect album. The production is strong and varied through every track. The lyrics are thematically a lot different than her current style, which can serve as a nice break every now and then. Overall, I'd rate it a 95/100.

I feel like Pearl doesn't really show her personality too much, which might hurt her.

I was a little to scared to say that as fans might say it's to bright for Lana's style. But I agree. I'm hoping for more Florida Kilo-esque songs, though I'm not sure if it fits in with that theme.

 

I agree, but I'm hoping that this new era is 'brighter'. She seems happier in her life, and 'Honeymoon' and 'Music To Watch Boys To' just sound very upbeat. I was actually hoping the album sounds like FK actually.

I think people need to have a bit more faith in Lana, in terms of her working with Emile. I mean, if you didn't like 'Wait For Life' then I get why you wouldn't want her to work with him for 'Honeymoon', but there's a reason why that song didn't end up on UV and ended up on his song, even though he said it was originally planned for UV. She obviously has more control on the music she puts on her album and probably didn't want it as much as the other songs so unless the songs he makes with her are up to standard I doubt she will put them on 'Honeymoon'.

It's not necessarily that they're terrible (well Daddy Issues/IWIABW are), it's just CWYCMA & Making Out's alternates are 100% better. I like Delicious but it's a terrible song. 

And Moi Je Joue idk.. it's the only Princess Superstar one I don't like.
