Apparently, Chuck shot the UV cover today.

I'm into this type of music as well (and I'm typically anti-camp) but the guy has done some incredible soundtrack work in the past when he restrains himself.

He is campy, but I think the atmospherics will work with Lana's vocals if he strips it down a bit a la some of the Scarface tracks.

This is exactly what I'm hoping for. Reminds me of Mazzy Star, Wild Nothing, The Radio Dept, etc as well. But yes, Lana will probably incorporate this sound over a trip-hop beat.

I can't comprehend this Justin Parker thing. Lana is following him again on Twitter and he keeps obfuscating the Ultraviolence conversations.

Moroder is so talented and defined cinematic sound. This album could be so epic.

I'll be so pissed if she comes to the South after I spent money on a Maryland ticket and the inevitable gas and hotel charges.

Black Beauty is too transfixing lyrically and sonically to leave out. I would be so sad. Plus, I need to hear her sing it live in May.

VIP was sold out and I have Pavilion tickets...any tips for getting front row? I'm driving 5 hours from North Carolina as well.

Nirvana, yes, but Dylan and Oasis' sounds are perfect for Lana, IMO. Her voice is incredible over a dreamy rock sound.

I really hope this goes in a shoegaze/rock direction...that's when Lana is at her best (a la AKA Lizzy Grant or the summer leaks). Her covers of Knocking on Heaven's Door and Wonderwall were heavenly.

Just bought mine, too. The VIP is such a tourist trap, though. It's basically the exact same as the Pavilion ticket but with an added access to the VIP bar.

I just hope she doesn't take out the synth...it gives the song such a hauntingly beautiful quality.

I bought a new poster and Lana t-shirt in preparation for this concert (which will be a five-hour drive away). I really hope I can get these VIP tickets to meet Lana now.

So, is VIP closest to the stage or do they sit in a booth? I want to get it, but I'm afraid it will seat me further away from Lana.

I'm not sure whether to get VIP or another level? Which would be closest to the stage? I can't tell if VIP is a box or not...

Well, with these new US tour dates, an early May release date seems all the more likely to be true.
