    New US Tour!

Is Atlanta sold out period or will more tickets become available during the general sale?

    New US Tour!

I'm so nervous about this....hopefully there are less Lana fans around Atlanta than Vegas.
  3. Gaga doing something psychedelic with guitars? He also said it was good, so...
  4. More psychedelic...more guitars. Yas. Reminds me of Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood's stuff. It could be Lykke Li, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SrEdAeGj6Y

    New US Tour!

To sell my Sweetlife ticket and get an Atlanta one or not? Same distance, but I feel like I would get more bang for my buck at an actual Lana UV concert...and maybe a better chance of meeting her.
  6. How on earth can so many people dislike Ride (?!) , the original Yayo, Oh Say Can You See, Come When You Call Me America, Driving in Cars with Boys, etc??
  7. Some fan claims that Lana hinted that Black Beauty "could be" on UV and let him listen to a track.

    Lykke Li

Have you guys heard her collaboration with David Lynch? It's just heavenly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SpG7C4vHZQ
  9. I wonder what she was drinking...
  10. The cover and tracklist for TPE were released on September 24th (http://www.idolator.com/6936192/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-paradise-edition-tracklist-cover-artwork) and the album itself was released on November 9th. BTD's artwork was revealed on December 11th and the album was released on January 30th, (http://hypetrak.com/2011/12/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-album-cover/). The tracklist, however, wasn't revealed until much closer to the release date: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2012/01/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-tracklist.html
  11. Lana used to drive an old Mercedes that had a similar box shape...it's very reminiscent of retro-America. And Ford is about American as you can get.
  12. Nothing groundbreaking, but Rick Nowels confirmed his involvement with UV to BlogTalkRadio.
  13. I remember reading an article that "Lana" was derived from Lana Turner and "Del Rey" from the Ford Del Rey as well as the glamour of the name that reminded Lana of the Spanish coast. And it means "wool of the king" in Spanish.
  14. I still think it's light brown rather than auburn/red. Am I the only one?
  15. I loved her hair so much in the BtD music video, but the dark brown really suits her as well and would be very appropriate for the new album, so I'm torn.
  16. Barrie tweeting this and favoriting the reply "Life is beautiful, but you don't have a clue."
  17. I was always under the impression that the shift from "Ray" to "Rey" was inspired by the Ford Del Rey and how it represented retro-Americana. "Rey" also has a Spanish root, which Lana found to be glamorous-sounding.
  18. I actually can't find it on the official search engine? Maybe that user was mistaken.
  19. How awesome would that be? But I feel like people are taking the term "ultraviolence" far too literally. Lana is most likely using it in a metaphoric sense to represent a doomed relationship.
