  1. I still want to believe BAR was reworked info the title track even if it's highly delusional. Maybe Roses Bloom for You is an interlude. Lana doesn't ever recycle unreleased, though. Unless it's completely reworked like Methamphetamine (which sampled a melody anyway).
  2. She literally said they’re from the album at her New Orleans show. Can we quit it with that conspiracy theory
  3. I’m glad she only teased a few seconds of the latest song. I’m actually starting to become excited again for how this album will sound in one listen. The haunting piano ballads transitioning to the psychedelic rock daydreams
  4. One thing Lana doesn’t seem to be considering is that guitar and drums were trademarks of the Laurel Canyon sound. I guess there were some Carole King songs centered around the piano, though. And Joni of course. I wonder if Lana is influenced by Jennie Pearl’s “Maybe in Another Year” from Ladies From the Canyon
  5. This is going to be her late-60s, stripped-down, Laurel Canyon-inspired masterpiece (with a touch of 90s indie rock) and I am restanning. I have been trying to not listen to anything recently, though. Want to experience the full album and have it feel somewhat fresh.
  6. I grew up Catholic and went to 16 years of Catholic school...they deserve to be canceled. And a lot of prejudice is tolerated or perpetuated by the faith community.
  7. Everyone has the right to their own belief system, but not to freedom from criticism of how those rights are exercised. There’s also a difference between belonging to a community of believers and tolerating an establishment’s opinions advocating for conversion therapy, which has been found to be extremely detrimental to individuals who have experienced it.
  8. Agreed, but these ballads would work so much better over guitar like this Hope Sandoval song
  9. I still believe the full album will be an experience. I think we’re in for a lot of surprises, production-wise
  10. *moaning* All of my, all of my fine china All of my, all of my fine china All of my, all of my fine china *moaning* All of my, all of my fine china All of my, all of my fine china All of my, all of my fine china *moaning* Fine china Fine china Fine china Fresh linen Fresh linen Fresh linen Ahhh—-ahh-ahhhh Ahhh—-ahh-ahhhh Lanaboards: omg, NFR will never compare to the lyrical majesty of her unreleased piano ballads
  11. She really tried it with that line about waiting being beautiful
  12. I'd honestly prefer the cover, date, and track list over new songs or snippets.
  13. Yay, another piano ballad. Hopefully it's an intro/outro or before a switch in the song. Sounds nice at least.
  14. Even with the release date mess, she could at least give us the track list or the album cover. She just doesn't care about us anymore. We made her rich and now she's dialing in her career.
  15. The way people obsess over that mediocre live snippet with cheesy lyrics.
  16. Was going to take the day off and drive around the city/country. But, I may be in a nursing home by then.
  17. Agreed, but that was obviously a storyboard version of her book (there were words crossed out and glued images). She still had editing to do.
  18. I think it worked well for Ultraviolence, though. It fit with the woozy, hypnotic 4am swing of that album.
