    OMFG this reminds me of how in the album version of thunder, the drums bleed into her vocal mic feed at the beginning of the song where they removed the drums from the production… and it’s even worse because they’re off-beat at times to everything else. i cannot listen to that song at all because of it, it’s so awful and it genuinely infuriates me that they didn’t just either re-record it or use the original version

    as much i don't like beautiful i can at least understand why people like it - coachella though has literally zero redeemable qualities in fact i would argue it has negative qualities

     

    i love how pressed you are about coachella I don't think it's unlistenable but I always found in my feelings totally diabolical, she is my coachella

    but Lana isn't linear like this.. i feel like people forget about the magnitude of stunt that was pulled by the trio being put on BB. i think she's a music nerd, she's basically dabbled in every genre. she for sure loves beauty and camp, only months ago she said she wants to collab with Migos. each album is a result of a particular mind-state so there's no telling what's next. also she's been acting like she has an onlyfans to plug lately so if she put out another slow burner now THAT would be camp

    if you like Lana but need something different you'll like this artist called taylor swift she just does Lana covers and makes up her own versions of lana songs they're not bad

    now that BB has been out for a while i want to do an updated round table discussion on everyone's rankings, but i'm betting a lot of us will have a favourite song + album that's different to what we think is actually her best song + album

     

    you can be extra and include demos/unreleased/live versions if you want but i think it's a bit unfair to put a bad unreleased in the worst category. Let's not do any split answers or "runner up" or "honourable mention" bc that defeats the point. Also opinions change it's ok so let's just talk about the current state of affairs before we go into LDR9

    No because she will do the most unexpected thing i.e. a short traditional rollout like honeymoon but only because we expect her to do that because it's unexpected but the real expected thing is for her to have 3 release dates and 4 different album titles and 2 totally scrapped albums but she won't do that because it's expected for her to do the expected unexpected thing so obviously she'll do the thing we don't expect but only because it's the thing we aren't expecting her to do because it's unexpectedly unexpected and we love her for that
