    so i gotta preface this by saying i've never been to a show of hers, but i've seen enough live video to understand the noticeable...change in performance quality over time. i totally agree that she can get away with putting in very little effort at this point because fans will still show up just to see her (hell, i'd still pay to go to her show if i got the opportunity, at least to have seen it once and have a real opinion). i definitely get so in the moment/into the experience at concerts that the lack of effort would almost definitely matter way less to me in person than it does through a screen! (obviously i would've loved to see the level of showmanship that's in her older performances though) i don't mind the more mellowed out persona necessarily, and i really love the music we've gotten from it, but i don't think it mixes well with the weird vestiges of her more done-up persona that are still around, and i don't think it's as unique as her whole high glamor, high drama, sad-trashy-yet-somehow-elegant-literary-hedonist-lolita deal was when she first broke out. the part that really gets me, though, is how much she's had the crowd sing for her in some shows (lollapalooza chile i wanna say? you guys probably know the one i'm thinking of). that just always comes off as really lazy to me and whenever i see an artist doing it i can't help but think of

    i don't feel or see any ounce of hope sandoval or mazzy star in this era either Lana is doing it wrong or i'm (or y'all are) on crack

    lol i really felt it at first with the whole late summer MAC/VB release but admittedly less so with the chaos we've devolved into

     

    but i still wanna hear her take on that vibe ok, the delusional part of me is still holding out for her to get her act together and it would be fuckin amazing if she did it right

    like for example, she has saturn in the 7th house, which is the house of friendships/romantic relationships/interpersonal shit in general, and saturn has to do with struggles/obstacles/limitations

    We know nothing of her “support” status of it and for all we know she’s just there maybe to support a friend?     jesus christ girl we literally went over this five fucking times in the other thread about it. It's not about her being anti gay it's about her supporting a church who is anti gay. if she hung out with people who were known rapists and was too ignorant to do her own research, she'd get in trouble, so why is it okay for her to hang out at a church who are known to be homophobic and into pedophilia?

    twenty one pilots...i just cannot do it. i actually liked their new album quite a bit but 95% of their previous material makes me cringe reflexively at the lyrics and delivery, and feels like being locked in an empty dark icy warehouse while tiny elves with pickaxes hammer at my skull from the inside out.

     

    the 1975. their music sounds like the sonic personification of a really bland instagram aesthetic. it feels like they were manufactured expressly for the urban outfitters vinyl section.

     

    i KNOW there are several more that i've put in genuine effort to like but can't, but those two are all that come to mind at the moment
