I DM'd. They didn't reveal their source, but today, they said not to get too caught up in Lana. Moreover, they said RCS is merely a single. They're 80% accurate, soooo they stimulate my delusions.

Even if it's the case that she doesn't release on July 4th, I'm sure most of us will be pretty much fed, considering that the music industry seems to be waking up again.

We know it's not coming July 4th. Until there is a pre-order link + album trailer available, it's not coming.

I think they're probably saying the image she posted is genius, because those quotation marks on either side of the frame suggest that she may be trying to deconstruct herself and her own authenticity as artist on BB. That's what I've gathered.

It's not really the right kind of promo, though. It just keeps getting messier and messier, but I think I'm starting to appreciate the effort.

I don't mean to sound entitled, but music is her bread and butter. She can be unhinged with the craft, not with the misinformation. 

We should probably wait until Interscope decides to say anything about the album. They haven't really posted anything impulsively, if memory serves correctly.

I actually love Blue Bannisters more. It gives me 'White Dress' vibes. I don't know how to verbalise it, but I get the sense that now she is somehow on top, she's questioning her destination.

Literally, the visuals are the first impression of an album. I know that everyone hates the standard cover of Chemtrails, but it suits the album's content and it's honestly grown on me. I do think that her face between the quotation marks is genius, but it's still not how you go about teasing any album. 

The album cover can be as ugly as she wants it to be. I want bass and volume. Proper mastering. 

But in other news, this cat + mouse game as a Lana stan is getting excessively tiring. Girl, if you don't want fans, just say that. 

I'm craving an album with a sound that's similar to that of The Ooz or Man Alive! by King Krule, but 'it's just a dream I had in mind'. 

My lord, over 200 pages already? 

Anyway, I know Rock Candy Sweet is probably finished and I barely have any complaints about Chemtrails, but she needs to ditch Laura Sisk as the mixer and engineer, and Chris Gehringer as the mastering engineer. I'm tired of hearing whispers at full volume.  We need Kieron Menzies and Adam Ayan back. 

See you all in June, when we get absolutely nothing.

I think the album is finally growing on me after the third listen. I still have a lot to absorb from it, but I am starting to connect with it.
