The production on Summer Bummer is top notch and something very fresh in Lana´s discography. Groupie Love is another cliché song from Lana which happens to be so annoyingly oversweet it might have just given me caries.

Its cool for certain type of songs. But when the whole album is recorded with these same chilly cold vocals, it becomes tiring. She sounds great but I cant feel anything from most songs. Lately I have been listening to female artists like Feist, Pj Harvey... on loop and its like day and night. Lana´s music is so dead in comparison.

She lacks any affection in her voice since Honeymoon. Thats my biggest problem with her new songs.

Not sure if this album plan: lets make the first half poppy with trap beats and cheesy teen-fans-friendly lyrics and then group all "socially aware" songs in the second half to drag on... is going to work. I would prefer cohesive album with 10 or 11 songs, not this strange hybrid. But maybe I will be positively suprised.
