I remember there was an issue of vogue I was flipping through in a grocery store, and there was the tiniest little pic of her in her flower crown, and it said listen to this: Diet Mtn Dew. Was hooked ever since. this was before she was super popular though, I'm gonna say it was early 2012? I will always be a fan, I know it. Her writing style is similar to my own, and the things she writes about, especially about being in love with 'bad guys' is the story of my life. I enjoy her different styles, and the aesthetic she seems to like both musically and fashion-wise is one we both share. In fact, if I ever do make music (I'd like to try my hand at it one day) I'd be the the 'Rap Game James Dean', a nod to her 'Gangsta Nancy Sinatra' silly, I know.

"Who else is gonna put up with me this way?" god, I will never stop loving this song. It's what really opened the door for my love of her music and even now it's still pretty up there as far as play counts are concerned. I think I'm gonna go listen to it now... haha

I'd like it if Lana wrote a song and had Barrie sing like little lines here and there in the background. #HDBrevamp I'm sure she'll release the deluxe a few months after UV initially comes out so I won't worry about the number of tracks too much for now. I would die for a tracklist, however.

I love this! I love the original more for it's atmosphere, but this one needed to be made. If they wanted her on the radio they did well having this done with clearer vocals, they just are idiots about time frames for selling this kinda stuff.

Even if her new album for some reason was torn apart by critics AND she then retired, she'd still make music. (since she obvi has a fetish for making songs) Trip hop lana gives me life, but I would like to see her employ new elements into this album, as well as future ones.

You can have a long album without having to resort to filler tracks. I'm sure Lana would've gave us quality either way, I only worry that they may keep the UV outtakes under lock and key.

I wonder how many songs will be on it.

People's emotions are high right now, with good reason. Even this close to the album release (allegedly) it feels like everything is still up in the air. It's kind of toying with my emotions and I don't want it pushed back any more..

Someone said that a fan asked her what her favorite song was off UV and she said it was titled 'cruel world'. There isn't a recording of her saying this though. I think the bit about the fan predates her singing the snippet at that show.. so I think it's legitimately on the album. Or I hope so, just so we can have more track names.

I'd like 14. I know she's got well over 14 quality tracks that haven't seen sunlight.

How do people have such intense feelings about what 'fits' the album or what doesn't 'suit' the album. Like you haven't heard it yet? No one has... All we have are these vague descriptions to go off of. yall are silly. I mean maybe when we've heard a few more songs only then can we get an accurate idea of UV's style aesthetically. Only one month (roughly), and I cannot wait!! I haven't been so excited for anything in such a long time.. it's nice.

I first listened to WC while watching the blood moon lunar eclipse over my neighborhood.. it seemed appropriate for the first Ultraviolence song.

But I LOVE triphop lana. I hope there is at least a nod to it in the production of UV. The beats were what got me on the first listen.. eager for a new sound nonetheless. The acapella of WC sounds promising, but it's way too soon to tell really. Wish people would just chill.. we should be uniting!

Yeah.. drugs are bit of a turn off, i'll say! But still.. he's lookin better than ever. Several times a day I come back here, reading every new post, hoping to no avail. It's maddening.
