I don't think they "let" her turn to drugs, perhaps introduced her to but all the same... She made those decisions.

E-mailing them usually takes 2-3 days for a response, which is silly. I finally got the UO vinyl last night. I was told by the manager at UO that this is a limited pressing, so anyone who wants it should probably get it sooner than later.

I'm sorry if it's already been said a hundred times, but does the vinyl in the box set just have the standard 11 tracks?

The UO vinyl are "see through," one is pink and the other blue. And Bravado SUCKS about shipping things and their customer service is usually pretty spotty as well.

No store that I've contacted. And all of the online preorders have been placed on backorder.

As much as I hate shopping there, WalMart always has frames for pretty cheap. Hobby Lobby and Michael's randomly have half off frame sales, and I usually snag some of the vinyl friendly frames for $5 each when they do.

Yup, for free! They had a poster out advertising the album so I asked, kinda bummed assuming they'd sold out. When they told me it hadn't come in yet they mentioned something about having the posters so I asked for one and they brought me two. :-)

I went to UO today and they didn't get their stock in, but I did score two posters out of the deal. It's double sided, one side has the album art, album title underneath and the release date. Opposite side reads "Down on the west coast, they got a sayin'." I also picked up the Target CD and blasted it all the way home.

I would call the store before you go in. My pre-order was out on backorder and I was given notice like a week ago.

That's crazy! And now I'm curious, what evidence? Is there a thread?

I've always read she was born in 1986, am I missing something?

I keep going back to Sad Girl because it's euphoria letting the song build to that moment.

Am I the only one who especially loves the last time she sings "He's got the fire, and he walks with it/He's got the fire, and he talks with it" in Sad Girl?

Think of how many of us are buying/have bought multiple versions... From me she'll get 5 counts: CD, iTunes, standard vinyl, UO vinyl and the box set. She might get a 6th if UO has the vinyl in store...

The standard vinyl is black with just 11 tracks. UO sent me an e-mail yesterday telling me my order had been pushed back a week because it's on backorder soooo.....

I just listened to it on vinyl.....it's a religious experience.

I got the standard vinyl today. Vinyl is black, no frills (ie. not 180 gram). A/B features the cd artwork as one label (side A), the other side has a teal colored label reading LDR/UV and the tracks. C/D features the alternate hydrangea artwork as side C's label and a deep purple label on the other. Lyric sheet has credits on one side and the peyote pic on the other. One sticker on the outter wrap which reads "Lana Del Rey, Ultraviolence, including the single 'West Coast.'" The album jacket is a little wider that BTD or Paradise, to make room for both discs (no gatefold, boo!) but the cardboard is as cheap/flimsy as before.
