I kind of feel like there's going to be seven unreleased tracks we've already heard on this album.. it's very much giving blue banisters slapdash whatever get the album released vibe..
 

she is so tiring. mind you she teased this song 15 months ago. is getting something - anything - too much to ask 

ireland 2019 show flashbacks when she said that we'll be getting nfr in august. it was lowkey difficult for me to believe it then but when the date and pre-order dropped on july 31st saying that album out august 30th i was shocked...and happy.

At this point it’s safe(ish) to assume the era will officially begin at Stagecoach. Hoping the set, her outfit and visuals will give us a huge peak into TRPWS. 
 

Can’t wait for her to debut 5 songs on stagecoach so we can stream the 30 second replayed versions with fans yelling in the background from youtube before getting the stripped back versions of these songs in late November 

Anyway I actually think it would be interesting for her to play WTWWAW since it was made as a response to Trumps presidency/the state of politics in general. Seems like a bit of a statement to play a song with the lyrics “is it the end of America” at a country music festival.

can’t wait to hear the little kids complaining about how tone deaf she is if she actually sings when the world was at war 

Yess, I think it's defo means that this song will be on the setlist, hopefully there will be songs with this kind of sound on trpws?

The same insiders who say the album is boring would also say Pawn Shop Blues is boring, so I won't judge until I've listened to it myself.

Are we not allowed to have a little joke in these dire circumstances?

My expectations are low. I like what I've heard of Henry well enough. Whatever Ann Powers thinks, or the critics in general, or her diehard stans, or casual fans, it will find an audience somewhere, though maybe not in large numbers for years to come. What will Country Pop fans make of it? 
 
I liked the mellower tracks on BB, except the title track, as I loved Yosemite on COCC. 
 
I wonder if the lyrics are still sketchy and generalized?

So we're getting May Jailer-esque acoustic stuff (but with a high budget), possibly not a single upbeat track, (mostly?) depressing music, and Henry doesn't make sense as the lead of the album despite the whole acoustic/sparse/back to basics/Sirens style, lol. I don't know about you, but my body is ready.
