  1. yeah guys, we've got it. You don't see colors, you don't see historical oppressions. Good for you. I wish I couldn't see my privileges bc it's way more easier to live when you think that everybody lives the same life, and when you're free to be superficial with social struggles.
  2. exactly! We know Lana as a storyteller, but I think that now she's more of a poet. I mean, Lana always used poetry in her songs, but now it seems like she is not using only the poetic references, she's thinking like a poet
  3. are you trying to say that it's possible to be racist with white people? I mean, honestly, I don't wanna get in this discussion. It's exhaustive.
  4. I think that it's like how she perceives her life right now. She knows what she lived, what she is living right now and how it would be easier to live. It seems like she's just writing about how she perceives everything that has structured her and how she's being structured right now. It's about how her past still in her present somehow, and what she's changing in her new phase.
  5. can I be honest about the cover? Yeah, it's not stunning, but it does fit the music. Lana is doing a more raw aesthetics, she is striving for another group of fans. Lana doesn't want to be a popstar anymore, she's going back to her alternative/indie roots. It's a personal song, and a selfie is way more personal than a glamorous photoshoot. She made a personal cover for a personal song. That's good. If we look at the cover without listening to the song, it's bad. But, if we're looking at the cover while we're thinking about the song, it makes a lot of sense
  6. because it sounds racist. I don't think that people have to be racist to piss off azealia
  7. I think that if she just said narcissist, it would be okay, but why did she said "black"? I mean, is it relevant to point that out? There's no reason to talk about her color. BUT She wrote the song before the beef, so it's not about AB or Kanye
  8. I really don't know what some of you were expecting from this song. A bop called Sylvia Plath? Common sense, people, how to make a bop using the name of a woman who put her head in the oven? Jesus. yes (I think)
  9. did she said that? where? I hope that there's going to be like 14 songs on this album
  10. this may not be the saddest song that she ever made, but it's one of the most personal songs
  11. I think that Lana can lol Just kidding, but I do think that we can make some interpretations, but at the end, just Lana knows
  12. HIAD... probably is going to be something like Terrence Loves You
