She doesnt follow Taylor Swift, like, for real?😂

fishtail embodies so many eras. AKA, btd, chemtrails, honeymoon, lfl… it gives everything. It’s so charming with the muffled vocals, the heavy production on the chorus, the callback to Jump. I think that song deserved much more love. It’s like the child of all her records. I don’t understand why it isn’t more loved
Its actually one of my favourite ones from her last record(s). Absolutely love the production and the composition. The cringy lyrics are something Lana already does from time to time, so they dont really bother me either.

Living for the fact that she cant be bothered to promote.
That's the fair amount of attention awards and accolades deserve from artists actually, especially if they are already consolidated and dont objectively need them.

Great track. Quite original and entertaining. I love the fact that Lana just appears as kind of an intermission (as the rest of sounds and tracks on the song do, as well). Sounds quite organic. Love it!

For me it sounds a bit like bs to be honest, haha.
There's no way a major label artist's team like hers ignores the way Grammys work. Like, no way.
On the other hand, she already got nominated in 2014, 2016, 2018 and in 2020.

Think the same. OB is not my personal favourite one, but may be her most relevant record to date. In terms of how much all of what she represents as an artist is nitidly present. Hope sincerely that the academia will give it a more than deserved recognition.

I know its delusional by myself to wish that but I just hope not any
mediocre and terribly averageTS stuff will win over hers. -

4 nominations! <3
Not that I give a single ounce of credibility to these awards, but so happy for her and her team!
-
I get it's not the most respectful thing (to the people working on the organisation I mean) to not even acknowledge the prize, but it's just so, so funny the fact that she's literally the "Not now sweetie" meme regarding all the big industry stuff about her. Like, ye, in a weird way makes me respect her even more.

I know, I know!
But I would have personally loved it

Oh hell no... It's a funny pic I'm glad it's part of the package but the Neil covers rock me to the core to this very day. Particularly the standard, the boob, the Amazon and the Target covers are soooo evocative of the album. Perhaps the first time in her career she has fully nailed the cover artIts funny how much the perspectives diverge here, haha. I genuinely love the album but the cover art just doesnt do it for me. Glad that you enjoy it that much, though!

Such a powerfully moving, beautiful track. Reminds me somehow of Pink Floyd's The Division Bell album.

Kinda breaks my heart the fact that there's not some bigger celebration regarding this record. Hope it will be more recognised in the times to come, though.

Can't believe it's been already two years. I have the feeling that I still haven't discovered everything this record has to bring, even if I know its undoubtedly her most profound, vulnerable and beautiful one.
Happy birthday, Blue Banisters. And sincere thanks to Lana for opening up as much as creating such an authentic project required.
