completely agree with you! Sometimes less is more and this video is a proof. The footage was nice to watchbut I hated it wasn't meant for this era, it was like "Oh shit, i need to release some single, I'm going to choose the most commercial song of Honeymoon and use scrapped footage I didn't use with Ultraviolence."

this is actually pretty good. It fits UV so much better, i supposed because it was meant to be for that song!

i actually didn't like the video. The visual are great and the photography but i feel it just don't match Freak at all, all that footage under the water after the song finish, it was lovely but I wish she would use some of her music, not that Debussy song. It does look beautiful but it was sooo boring.

It really is ironic how freak and ultraviolence are literally the least deserving songs on each respective album to have music videos... and the worst tracks period on each album but

Lana would be a great producer in my opinion. The HM production grew on me and I think that it is on par with Auerbach's work on UV. She doesn't like to perform but she's happy in a studio. It's a natural progression for her

Yeah, she needs to start looking for new producers to collaborate. I'm sick of Rick Nowels... He's great and I loved his work on BTD but Honeymoon was a little bit too much.

I hope we'll get the Jamie XX and Mark Ronson track in a close future. I sure she's saving her best song for future albums.

Lana would have been the controversial queen of 2014 and the streaming would have been HUGE for ha.

Honestly speaking, it was controversy (well on top of good music) what made Born To Die so huge and iconic. First the accusation of authenticity (Lips, Surgery, blah), Snl, etc.

 

The UV era would have been truly "Ultraviolent", but it was intentionally tamed down.

He and Jamie xx are a perfect orgasmic team, thanks god they already recorded something as a team. Also, i'm completely positive about her colaborations with Mark Ronson. He will help her recovering her "Vintage Hollywood Sadcore" sound. I'd love if she collaborates with David Lynch on a couple songs or even if he remix one of her future singles (or even something on Honeymoon). She should look for Emelie Haynie again, he is amazing.

On the videos, she definitely needs to work with Steven Klein again for a high well produced video.
