Yeah the dates are a little confusing with information from interviews, if only we could get an official timeline from Lana herself..! I'm guessing that she must have just worked there when she went back for holidays and whatnot, I decided to use directions on google maps to see how far Lake Placid was from Kent, because I don't live in the USA and I haven't really got a good scale of the size and where everything is etc. and it says it's about 223 miles, a four-ish hour drive so perhaps she came home reasonably often, not sure also, it says that it was a steakhouse that she worked in, is Ruby Tuesdays a steakhouse (sorry if that's a silly question, it's just I had never heard of Ruby Tuesdays until I read that Lana had worked at that place!)? Or did she work at this steakhouse and then go to New York and work at Ruby Tuesdays? Also I found it confusing how she worked there until she was 20, maybe after school she left for New York, but came back in the holidays and kept her job?

I'd love for Lana to get this, she deserves it a lot more than many of the others on that list..!

This video was so different to what I was expecting, but then again I didn't really know what I was expecting! I'm watching it for the fourth time now and I'm still mind blown! What an artist. I absolutely love the monologue, it adds so much emotion! It's so personal and it feels like she's really letting us in. The whole video is beautiful, really. I just can't believe it - it seems surreal! When I was watching this, I only put real thought into her biking around America with these biker guys. I would love to know more about it, like how old she was when she did that, and how long she rode around for, etc. but I don't know whether we will ever find out more, most things seem to stay as mysteries! To be honest, I would LOVE an autobiography, that would be bliss. Hopefully one day! But wow, just can't believe the pure beauty of Ride. Newfound love for the song!
