Still her voice sounds beautiful in the final part, and we have to agree the pitched voice in the chorus is kinda innovative in her discography. I really hope that with the overall message of this single the girl's only welcoming us for more interesting and wilder things in the upcoming record... I'd just like her to read a dictionary lately or if she's too busy for that, then hire a good co-writer *ekhm ekhm* Nowels or Liam Howe. BTW Now it reminds me of a happy version of Fear & Loathing?

My only theory now is that this cheerful and simple single contradicts the narrative of the album, same way Electra Heart singles did hide the dark and subtler tracks on the record and Handmade Heaven had little to do with the rest of the tracklist?...

It's not bad. It feels like Superstar and Blue. Lyrically, the same Marina True Colours x No More Suckers x True shit over and over. Which is kinda OK but a terrible choice for a comeback song and i hope the album as a whole doesn't sound this uninspired.

This crystal clear vibe is what she shoulda stayed with. I like it a lot but this tropico vibe elsewhere is off putting admittedly and why is this all mixed in one single project sends me.

She should've made Love + Fear with Rick Nowels. All of it. He'd save it. He'd slay vulnerabie songs with her - Marina's I Never Learn/Ray of Light where? - and take care of the sonical mess the tracks are and handle it with grace just like he did on Honeymoon with Lana. Make it work.

Just listened; I do like the chorus, the rest is messy: intro is really bad, and neither bridge nor outro impress me enough, the instrumentalisation is unbearably simple which contradicts any TFJ or FROOT the song sentiments. Feels like it needs a radio mix or something, a weird lead single choice. We went from her listing places in To Be Human and Ancient Dreams to her listing colours now, okay? Sonically reminds me of Blue, sorta. But why is it a lead single, when it's neither ambitious nor pop enough? Thought she would enter a cunty era but currently it feels more clowny.

I think that the critics' feedback changed many viewpoints and FROOT was a grower for sure. And before L+F the Diamonds would still shit on Weeds or Gold.

Jesus Christ, I think that such a hateful discussion about a GODDAMN few seconds snippet is just insane. I actually found myself playing this snippet in my head and while I would like it to be good and still am unsure what's gonna come out of it, I cannot comprehend such harsh statements when we haven't heard basically anything from the new record. People want her to be quirky, then she comes with weird childish voices in a seemingly fun pop single, and now they are mad? People hated her lyricism in Man's World and now want her go back? What is going on? Just to remind you, FROOT was not that much well-received once it leaked.

tbh all her albums were not 'really' cohesive sonically. froot her magnum opus according to so many diamonds actually has electro-euro-indie-disco inspired vibes and then classc rock and then some fucking dolphins in gold and then piano ballads SO LIKE?

Hmm okay not fond of the snippet so far, seems kinda funny and I am too scared for it to be too much like Portals but it sounds more creative than anything she's done the last few years I guess?

BELIEVE IN LOVE IS AMAZING. It's like 1/3 of L+F are gems and the rest is mediocre trash, i don't get it.
