The fact that she missed so many opportunities to promo K-12 properly, like, she made a whole ass film and didn't even do a behind the scenes/making of, Show & Tell was being the most streamed song and the only thing they did was release the mv first and leave it as it is, no mirrored choreography videos for Detention/Show & Tell/HSS when they could just easily leave the acting scenes out and put the full choreo without cuts...

What i meant with "generic chorus" is how the lyrics and production sound sexual(which is not a bad thing), it's the stereotype of the latina needing to have that sexy vibe and she played it well on both song and music video. While it gives that image, there is a deep meaning behind it. I really wish Detention was the lead-single cuz it's the most commercial song out of K-12, imagine if she came back with it!!!!

This is what I expect productionwise from her... btw it's produced by CJ Baran and Mel posted a story with him earlier this year so we might be winning

her mind then she well-executed the edgy teenager part Exactly, the EP really shows she has GOOD CONTENT and how she was STUCK lyrically on the school theme, she could do a lot better if it wasn't the need of every song having to do with a pencil, eraser, notebook, those themes should have been just the titles of the songs and the lyrical content be different metaphors(like Show & Tell and High School Sweethearts, they didn't feel forced to me, another example is i like Detention's cuz it really feels like a pop diva song with the generic chorus and the "sexy latina" image she put on). Anyway, she has proven us wrong with the new leaks lyrically and sonically so it's definitely going to be her best work. I'm super excited!!!(what kills me though are her wrong predictions, it's tiring but i get why it's taking so long...)

right so many opportunities... I wish she did a Q&A to talk about the album to build hype for it like she did before K-12, she plans on releasing a single in spring but we barely know anything about it yet, just that it's coming out this year(and not everyone knows about this)

K-12 and After School were all produced by Michael Keenan. He produced Pacify Her/Milk and Cookies from Crybaby and Gingerbread man;

visually pleasing, hope this kind of dark-ethereal-fantasy concept is what she gives us for MM3, enough of pastery fluffly frilly dresses

I still can't believe atlantic records made her choose between the budget for playdate mv or the budget for MM3... REALLY BAD move of them like c'mon it was blowing up and she would have gotten more recognition and both would profit from it, didn't they see how it went good with other artists

instead of doing that jewelry thing she should just like print pics of her, sign it and sell it for hundreds or millions and ppl would buy them, or like sell her drawings or anything else, this depop drop definitely ain't it (i get the merch thing, she needs her team for that and the profits are distributed and not all for her)
