  1. I really vibe with this album :bop:

I don’t like the rhyme schemes in a lot of them though. Too simple

I also figured out why I’ve never clicked with Billie as much initially. It’s because she dresses very edgy and street but her music can border on adult contemporary sometimes…

  2. Lana references "Can I Kick It?" by A Tribe Called Quest in this song, and what's really interesting is that this song samples "Walk On the Wild Side" by Lou Reed, who is somebody Lana loves. Even though in her more recent albums she's leaned more towards Joni Mitchell than Lou Reed, I'm happy that there's still this connection.

Yeah I hope the same for her too. I really thought Lana had finally found a nice unproblematic man with a job and then Evan goes and does that. I really don’t think her and Evan are dating though. They just don’t give me a couple vibe but I could be totally wrong.

    wait, what did Evan do?

Not to say anything but Lana's cooking something. Lana entered Coachella with the song "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the blue)" by Neil Young, whose lyrics are "Out of the blue into the black". Additionally, she repeated these lyrics on stage, and the first week she wore a blue outfit, and the second week a black one. She's also referring to Get Free in a way since she used the lyrics "Out of the black, into the blue" which are a reference to "My My, Hey Hey". I wonder what she's cooking for the next era and if all of this has a specific meaning.

out of the blue and into the black is used in Get Free but I agree, using Neil Young’s song and planning outfits like that probably mean something
