  1. In TB, does she say 'You touched the detriment most of the friends I knew already had' or 'You dodged the detriment'? Genius says the former, but I hear the latter, and it honestly makes a lot more sense to me. If the song is about Sean and the end of that relationship, which it seems like it is, that line makes it sound like in her eyes he'd avoided being damaged by "fame" and L.A. unlike the other people she knew. Do we have any official lyrics?
  2. You're right and you should say it. One of her least interesting tracks, lyrically and sonically. I think the shock of the opening lines and the fact that it's NFR blinds a lot of people to how bland it is.
  3. I used ship7, which someone here recommended! You sign up on their website, they give you a free UK address which you then input at checkout. The package will ship to that address, which is in their warehouse, and then you pay them to ship it to you, to my understanding.
  4. Well, I bought the signed bundles through a shipping service. I decided any album with Thunder on it is worth it. Although, does anyone who bought through the UK store have any clue why they're only giving me one signed art card even though I bought two signed bundles (the two vinyls + the CD/cassette bundle)? I thought I should have gotten two, no? Did this happen to anyone else? Seems weird to me.
  5. Damn. Now the only question is whether or not her US store will restock. Wondering if I should bite the bullet and just pay for a UK shipping service to be on the safe side.
  6. Wildflower Wildfire = Blue Banisters > Arcadia > Text Book I like the production of Text Book, and I'd still give it an 8/10, but the BLM and 'I screamed for them' lines make me CRINGE like no other (except pretty much all of Coachella, ironically). It's hard to listen to the song sometimes because those lines take me out of the moment. Really wish someone would make an edit with them gone lmao.
  7. Lana can't really feel too bad about this. Lorde was like 16 and Bowie always did like them young. *Put Me in a Movie plays in the distance*
  8. @lustforlife Will LDR Village have signed copies for the sad Americans?
  9. I missed out on the signed CD. I can't believe we didn't get any signed vinyls in the US, though.
  10. Anyone know, are those really the lyrics for the verse of If You Lie Down With Me on the forbidden site?
  11. My prediction: Thunder If You Lie Down with Me Sweet Carolina Beautiful Nectar of the Gods Violets for Roses Black Bathing Suit Living Legend Wildflower Wildfire Dealer Blue Banisters Arcadia Cherry Blossom Text Book Interlude – The Trio I genuinely love all of the tracks we have so far, so I think I'm going to adore every song on this album. Like, even Text Book ranked at #14 is still at least an 8/10 to me. Her magnum opus is truly coming.
  12. God, I fall more in love with Wildflower Wildfire every day. The singles are all so damn beautiful, but WW has aged like the finest wine. A month seems too far away - I need the full album now.
  13. Is this just the standard black vinyl? https://www.target.com/p/lana-del-rey-blue-banisters-2-lp-explicit-lyrics-vinyl/-/A-84599732
  14. Did the restock already sell out? I don't check my phone for a few hours and this happens. I wanted to get the white vinyl.
  15. When do we think signed copies will drop?
  16. It would be just like Adele, professional Lana imitator, to copy her release date just like she copied her paradise tattoo.
  17. Ooh, joining in on this. 1. Ride 2. Mariner's Apartment Complex 3. Shades of Cool 4. Fuck it I Love You 5. West Coast 6. National Anthem 7. Art Deco 8. Money Power Glory 9. California 10. Thunder 11. The Blackest Day 12. Nectar of the Gods 13. Swan Song 14. Hope 15. Change 16. Is This Happiness I love Chemtrails, so I feel bad excluding it completely. If Thunder (top 3 song for me) weren't being officially released, Dance Til We Die would have taken number 10, though.
  18. I didn't listen to Thunder on YT much because I instantly fell in love with it and downloaded it, but I vaguely remember one of the first videos I listened to had this picture: And I think it perfectly encapsulates the vibe of Thunder. The whole shoot does tbh: Sweet '70s rock Lana is best Lana.
  19. Text Book: Fuchsia Blue Banisters: Charcoal gray Arcadia: White Thunder: Navy blue and white with a little ochre Wildflower Wildfire: Sage green and pink Nectar of the Gods: Cognac brown and black and baby blue Living Legend: Light gray Cherry Blossom: Pale pink and amber
  20. Wow. I agree with the people who said she seemed sad, and I hope that she's doing well and this is what's best for her. It can be tough to make a big decision like that, so I think it's only natural to feel sad even if you know you're making the right choice. It does feel like this is the end of an era, with Blue Banisters closing out and summarizing her journey from BTD to now. It feels like this is Lana Del Rey as we knew her saying goodbye, because I think that this chapter in her life is officially over and whatever comes next will be completely different from her work thus far. Like Lana said in WTWWAWWKD, Is it the end of an era? Is it the end of America? No, oh It's only the beginning If we hold on to hope We'll have a happy ending Here's to hoping for a happy new beginning for Lana.
