  1. @ Sorry if you thought I was spamming you when I only needed suggestions and a bit of help!
  2. @@Creyk I am simply a fan who knows how personal Lana's music can get, and how psychological her songs can get. I just get the sense that with UV's tracklisting there is a lyrical trip from hope to hopelessness. I divided up my set list not so that she would not actually cut to fancy interludes and encores, but we could watch her sing her journey clearer. I don't mean an encore so much as a chance for her to say bye to the whole crowd. I don't want Lana to be on stage feeling like she is going through the motions because she knows how to put on a show. And of course Lana puts a lot of thought into her everything
  3. I think that with ULTRAVIOLENCE, there is a sense that Lana is portraying her love life through common stages we all fall under (of being in and out of the state of love). Don't scold me for this comparison, but I think that there is a cycle that is portrayed in this album, the same way Marina and the Diamonds did with the 4 Archetypes of ELECTRA HEART. Lana, of course, is more subtle about it with her less commanding and less theatrical presence. Anyways, I'm basing my set list off of Attraction Attachment Anxiety Aggression/(Un)Availability (of her lovers). MY SET LIST (I am not expecting her to divide her show up into full interludes like Gaga does with her tours) PART ONE: Attraction Ultraviolence with an extended intro Shades of Cool Blue Jeans Body Electric *wild card* I wish we had more live versions of "Off To The Races"!!! PART TWO: Attachment Brooklyn Baby I Can Fly West Coast Burning Desire Video Games Black Beauty PART THREE: Anxiety Pretty When You Cry Gods and Monsters Money Power Glory Fucked My Way Up To The Top Young and Beautiful Born To Die Old Money PART FOUR: Aggression/(Un)Availability Video Games Ride The Other Woman Is This Happiness Flipside (Lana interacts with fans, and I agree that this was meant to be a closing song!) ENCORE: Cruel World as a finale, I think, would be an amazing final teasing of the crowd. I imagine roses and balloons and loud standing ovations! PLUS Florida Kilos for the West Palm Beach show and Guns and Roses if there's a Detroit show
  4. I'm not going to this particular show, but since I read that your show's pit will be split up into 2 sections does anyone know if any other shows are going to have split pit sections for a potential runway or something like that? Granted, not all the shows have pit sections and when I bought my tickets for the Chula Vista show, ticket master suggested that there was only one not divided up pit
  5. MY FANTASY POTENTIAL LANA SETLIST FOR ENDLESS SUMMER TOUR with Courtney Love (a la Beyoncé and Jay-Z) *Sorry that I don't know Courtney Love songs all that well. For now, until I edge up on her tracks, I'm just going to put "Courtney Love/Hole song" Act One: Destruction 1.) Ultraviolence w/ extended intro 2.) Shades of Cool 3.) Blue Jeans 4.) Courtney Love/Hole song 5.) Courtney Love/Hole song (possible Lana collab) 6.) Pretty When You Cry (Courtney & Lana share the song.) Act Two: Infatuation 7.) Brooklyn Baby 8.) West Coast 9.) Courtney Love/Hole song 10.) Burning Desire 11.) Black Beauty (possible Lana & Courtney collab) 12.) Young and Beautiful 13.) Big Eyes/I can Fly Act Three: Suspicion 14.) Fucked my way up to the top (REALLY want Lana & Courtney to sing this one together) 15.) Cola 16.) Money Power Glory 17.) Sad Girl 18.) Courtney Love/Hole song 19.) Courtney Love/ Hole song 20.) Born To Die 21.) Gods and Monsters 22.) Dark Paradise, re-worked 23.) Old Money Act Four: Paranoia 24.) Is this Happiness 25.) The other woman 26.) Courtney Love/Hole song 27.) Courtney Love/Hole song 28.) Courtney Love/ Hole song 29.) Courtney Love/ Hole song 30.) Flipside w/ extended outro (possible Lana & Courtney duet) ((possible front rows meet and greet?)) ENCORE: CRUEL WORLD (Lana solo or duet with Courtney) SORRY I AM GIVING WAY MORE PREFERENCE TO LANA's SONGS since I don't know Hole's music that well. "Wait For Life", "Once Upon A Dream", and "Last Song" I'm unsure about placing in. "GUNS AND ROSES" for a possible Detroit show and "FLORIDA KILOS" for the West Palm Beach, Florida shows.
  6. @@buster I went onto Google Maps and my venue close up, and my venue's pit is pretty big. I estimate that it can hold about 80 people shoulder to shoulder for up to 20 or 30 human rows. I will definitely call my concert's venue for more specifics. Nonetheless, I am going to have unnecessary anxiety knowing that the fans who were able to get this package will have the freedom of guaranteed absolute close ups of Lana/Courtney AND POSSIBLY that infamous meet & greet time with Lana during the show. Are you shading me? Because to be honest, I am merely repeating the opinion of what other users say about people at her shows. A fan is indeed a fan and I personally find the whole concept of entitlement wrong. But at the same time, I'm not sure if the management organized this in the most ideal way. I'm not on this website just to be holier-than-thou to fans who may seem to appear that way. The pit is sold out at my show, by the way. The main regret I have is simply not being able to see Lana when she was less world-famous. Because of my age (which may make me come across as "entitled",)personal situations, or because of my parents not letting me travel to Hollywood, I have failed to get tickets for EIGHT Lana shows already since June 2012. I am very happy for all the fans who have had the opportunity to meet Lana once or multiple times, and give her fan gifts and take selfies and all of that. Not having this privilege to secure a close enough spot with certainty makes me and will continue to make me feel like such shit if I'm unable to express my thanks for her if . My Dad and I have been saving up money since June 2012 for this opportunity, and I will of course enjoy the show when the night finally comes. But I am really being hard on myself for being kinda outta luck during the presale.
  7. Now that the presale has been over and the general sale will be less hectic, I have been having this new worry since honestly all of us would still like to meet Lana Del Rey (all of us that haven't met her yet anyway.) Finally my first chance (in the 3 years I've loved her music) to see Lana Del Rey in my hometown came on Thursday. Like many of us, I wanted to get the silver VIP package since this is the only package that guarantees early entry into the pit. Unfortunately I accidentally refreshed the livenation presale page at 10:01 on Thursday. Also I attempted to purchase 2 VIP packages at once instead of buying one at a time (my Dad wants to see/meet Lana too.) I settled for regular GA pit tickets after going onto another page and looking for best available. There's no doubt all the packages will sell out and the shows as well if the regular tickets are that cheap. •Has anyone here ever entered a concert early? •How many hours did you wait before your concert? •How many hours earlier did you get to enter before your concert started? (For any artist) •If my venue's pit holds 500-1000 people, does anyone have any idea how many people can fit into the first row? OR how many VIP packages have been sold by live nation? •With the amount of seats for these new shows, and the addition of the more hardcore grungy controversial Courtney Love for these shows, do you think that those that bought silver VIP packages will be older fans/ less aggressive/ more dedicated Lana fans? OR do you think that there will be more stereotypical rich girl flower crown wearing Tumblr girls with the VIP packages? •And finally, to everyone with the package (MANY here on lanaboards), I am assuming you will all be holding the hell onto that barricade, unless you get drinks/merch/ go to the bathroom beforehand on the venue? I'm asking all these questions because in my personal opinion, (call me entitled or not,) despite the chaos of the last tour shows, I find it a bit unfair that this is the only VIP package that guarantees early entry. But more so, the people who are able to pay more regardless of their love for Lana, are much more likely to meet Lana & Courtney if they interact with front rows, then people who would otherwise wait all day and hope for the best (which is what I will be doing anyways.) Then again, perhaps I'm just coming off jealous of all of the Lana fans who got these particular tickets. *let's make a topic on possible set lists for the Lana and Courtney shows too!*
  8. @j.auston the gold VIP package is $325 and with the extra fees, you will probably be spending $350 a person
  9. People that aren't down on the West Coast are saying on the Facebook page that the ticket buying process is much faster over the ticketmaster app. Can anyone on Lanaboards say the same thing? I have yet to buy my tickets!
  10. @@kik is that some sort of seat, or is that like a strap for your lower back?
  11. @@kik I just want to be clear that the $250 silver VIP package is for Canadian shows only, so if you're American like me, then we still don't know! And honestly I am having the same concerns. I want to be guaranteed early access into that pit but would all that money be worth it if a regular GA put ticket will be half as much? And would we have to wait all day? Probably. Sorry if I come off obnoxious! either way all I see on Lana boards are people trying to go for the VIP! and since I'm in year 12 of high school I spent so much money already on submitting my college applications!
  12. According to Facebook page it's just ELVIS and also I saw that on livenation, (for the Montreal show) the VIP packages are $325 for GOLD, $250 for SILVER, AND $225 for BRONZE, so us Americans can hope that it will be about $30-50 cheaper since Canadian money is more expensive
  13. Although I already said I have been a Lana fan since early 2012 and I'm still in high school, I in no way am trying to provoke arguments about the shows. I have read many of the concert experiences posted here and I agree that people should not be so brutal. I want to be aware of just how much physical safety risk I may be getting myself into. I've been bullied before for liking Lana back when she wasn't well liked, so I hope no one here holds anything against me. We have yet to see if the Tumblr flower crown people will disappear and if the seats will calm the majority of these future crowds down.
  14. Still so confused, last night live nation tweeted me that the presale code for the Chula Vista show is COVERT but then they tweeted there would be no pre Sale codes at All For This Tour And Then I Heard That The Presale Codes Will Be Released On Facebook Tomorrow! Sorry for repeating this but of anyone has any alternate information please let me know! I'm going to be on a school field trip when the Presale tickets come out and I need to make my attempts as smooth as possible on my smartphone!
  15. @@DrunkBeautyQueen only if you buy the "silver package" from live nation. Gold gives you first row in the seats behind GA PIT. bronze gives you first ten row seats behind GA PIT. I know this is really sophisticated but I know they're trying to avoid the chaos of all the general admission shows back on the earlier tour this year. I need to experience that pit too
  16. @sharndpx I understand your concerns as I have been in the front for many other concerts but none of the artists had the same fame as Lana now has. Can we message each other about concerns I have? Thank you so much for that long reply. I actually have read your Seattle post many times and that is beyond brutal. I'm a mature senior in high school who is 5'10 and my dad is 6 feet with a bodyguard build. Is it really worth it even trying to be in the pit just to feel that experience? Sorry If I still come off ignorant. I have been trying to see Lana since she was singing in clubs. I failed to see her El Rey Theater shows, I was grounded when her shrine auditorium show happened so I found out too late, I have no money for coachella, and my religious parents refused to let me see her in Hollywood forever cemetery. I know this is everybody's dream on lanaboards, but I have had multiple Internet friends who have braced the GA PIT and given Lana fan books, kisses, roses, and they all got their swellfies and autographs. Even more to make me jealous they claimed that their GA pits were calm since they saw her on the east coast in 2013. I know this is going off topic from this new tour, but I would truly feel like shit if I didn't have the same equal opportunity that these friends have had. And as if skipping prom for Lana wasn't conflicting enough (I am going to enjoy her show regardless) I will actually be on a school field trip when the presale is released on thursday!
  17. @ I could care less about my school's prom (which is on a cruise ship!) at this point. I'm just so excited but I can promise you that even though I'm in high school, I've been a Lana fan long enough to show some respect to others. With the actual seating at most of these shows on this tour, I wonder if there will be the same madness as all of her general admission shows on this year's ameican tour. I'm for sure buying a VIP package even if it isn't meet and greet and I've got my parents' approval to go do the presale during school! And @ I will meet you when we wait all ay just to be the first up front!
  18. Lana is finally coming to my hometown ON MY PROM NIGHT of all dates. Unfortunately my venue (Sleep Train Amphitheater) doesn't have a huge GA pit, and my religious parents would not let me go to the Hollywood Forever shows...I must buy a VIP package presale over Facebook! Sorry if I come off so immature everyone reading this. I've been waiting my turn to see Lana since early 2012. This show is going to be sublime, especially for everyone who doesn't want to be clawed down in the GA pits. If I can secure my VIP package and bankrupt my parents' credit card (still a senior in high school) I will need all my friends who love Lana's help on making my night with Lana the best it can possibly be! Again sorry but I was literally taken to a dream world when my friends told me after lunch today!!!
  19. Unfortunately I could not rule against my parent's concerns. Hopefully a radio station will give me free tickets as I'm entered to see LORDE on October 10. So concerned that the next time she announces a california date I won't catch the presale. Good luck to all of you who got tickets. I hope your ultraviolence box sets are signed at this once in a lifetime event!!!
  20. I asked my parents since I'm still only 17 and can't drive my way there. My family is devout Roman Catholic like Lana, but they immediately said no when I said cemetery...I tried to reason with them that Hollywood Forever gave Lana permission, and that it wouldn't be over anyone's graves, and that they show movies there, & they still didn't accept those facts. Reasonably they find it disrespectful, but I am bummed beyond belief. And I'm in San Diego too by the way. Doubt that Lana would come down to San Diego
  21. FINALLY MY CHANCE TO SEE HER AND MEET HER at a once in a lifetime show/ venue!!! & two weeks before my birthday!!!
  22. @@longtimeman YOU ARE ON POINT & now that I come to think of it, conspiracy theorists, (even if they have good logical reason to question authority) are like cliché hipsters. Whereas the stereotypical (if I can say that) hipster feeds off the unknown status or irony, the conspiracy theorist feeds off anger and misplaced rage against broken privileges. Hence his 'need' to attack Lana and Ke$ha of all people. What has Lana done for "the illuminati agenda"? Include Jesus in a movie? Be honest about her past & present feelings? Admit to sleeping around like any lost person would?
  23. @@DeadAgainst Bailey Jay is the pot calling the kettle black. It is best to just ignore situations like these. Then again this topic is for awareness
  24. @@Tyler: I forgot to mention that I knew he was bullshitting. No way in hell or on this cruel world would Lana follow such an attention seeker. Sorry about that. Insulting my fave still shook me up though. @@Viva: That is why I said I was giving him attention. However, I wish to let Lana fans know to be stronger than these people who feed off anger for a living. He lives in my city & I know he's out to give everyone who doesn't share his beliefs a bad name. @@longtimeman: I'm certain it doesn't phase him. But it phases a lot of people. To quote Lana "I was so confused as a little child, trying to take what I could get, scared that I couldn't find..all the answers honey." I used to hang out with people with this mentality & they are self-defeating. Me nor Lana nor anyone should be so pessimistic about others. I tweeted him to respectfully focus on politicians instead of "pop stars" but seeing my logic, he would not RT me, only those who wished death on him. Social media is no doubt a weapon of mass destruction if knowledge's power is used like this. UGH what a shame that he lives in my city of all places. And I'm certain Lana has met people like him. Gaga deals with homophobes every day.
