Well we saw how that played out, when she released digital autographs for evermore

Jackie (2016)
What a brilliantly directed movie - the archived material blending into the re-enacted scenes is just superb. Alongside the Camelot theme you’re really left wondering what’s fiction and what’s reality. A bit too on the nose storytelling-wise.
But don’t get me started on the score, just wow. I believe in Natalie Portman supremacy, do you?

This album is easily one in the top 5 this year. Smile‘s riff gave me goosebumps and her voice in general is ethereal… wew. What a great album 10/10
New good band to discover

Personally, I think it would be neat if she were sitting on a bed of grass with her eyes shut and the bed of grass closely surrounded by a ring of fire. I think it would tie in with her vows to never turn into something that catches flame while also referencing her ongoing concerns with the fires in California (specifically in Santa Clarita).
She’s been “under fire” from the media for the past decade, and I think seeing her sitting peaceful, unbothered by her surroundings could be a neat concept
At first I was going to say, how this idea would do the NFR cover dirty. However your last paragraph would actually fit perfectly into the more (introspective) narrative she‘s been into since NFR.
On the NFR cover the fires are in the background, burning down the city/land (=Americana, who am I to dream for you, the bigger picture etc) and then she arrives at your concept, where the fire is now surrounding her. Like there’s no escape from this hell for no one in a way, you know? Oh my that‘d be so great -

Seriously… if your friend or colleague or whatever sympathizes with an objectively bad party, it doesn’t make your loyalty look cute either
this thread couldn’t fall further from grace unlike the UFB pre-leak
on topic: not a day goes by without listening to the godly singles several times. The atmosphere she’s created within each one is almost too much to handle. Just thinking how I‘ll listen to NFR and BB back to back is giving me chills.
I‘m glad we still have the album to look forward to, even though the anticipation is killing me

Someone mentioned in the comments, that the video is similiar to Madonna's Music and they're not wrong. Considering Madonna is Dua's fave and she wanted to pay tribute or whatever, it gives the video some sense for those who need it. Love Again samples My Woman (1932) and with the reference to:
Spoilerfrom 2000...
- voilà - we have unlocked Future Nostalgia.

and the choreo is so sexy and fun to do, I love everything related to white mustang
the retro futuristic vibes of the music video, I wish we saw more of that
popular opinion: upsetting how the video was scrapped for BAR, but I more often than not rewatch it solely for the dance scene in the tunnel anyway

Goddamn rodeo sure never looked sexier i could use a ride
sure, while she didn’t do much of a choreography, she still served with the way she used her hips and belly and it’s too divine
She seems to be into animes, so I‘ll just pretend she dropped on everyone a reference to Mamoru Oshii’s Angel‘s Egg and be happy with that

So like I think the line will somewhat be about how she was looking for a paradise that never really existed, which could connect to her achieving fame and recognition, but it not turning out the way she had imagined.
Love that. It would bring us back to Paradise Is Very Fragile

I‘m sad we never got a dance album from her with Daddy Issues, Boom Like That, Roll With Me (or bubblegum pop aka Puppy Love, BBM, Motel 6, etc). It’s really missing from her released discography.
And unlike Madonna who released Ray of Light with 40, I can‘t see Lana releasing anything close to it in the next 5 years. She could pull it off, so sure of that, but well the singer/songwriter route is more evident with the three singles (tho I love to be proven wrong!).
I‘ll still love her of course, but this feels like such a missed opportunity
