    Just so y'all are aware: Sky does have a song called Overplayed (it was meant to be a single during the Cry Baby era, she talked about it in an interview) but this ""writer's demo"" is sadly fake and not related at all 😭 it's really good tho

    Her team has been mass-striking random old songs and unreleased after the album leaked, so it doesn't mean anything. They also took down my upload of Allie's 10-year-old demo reel, which was publicly released mind you. Wasting their time considering they clearly have bigger fish to fry lolz 

     

    I'm pretty sure the different title is just a typo

    Most of the released Portals songs have good lyricism honestly? Death, Void, Tunnel Vision, Leeches, Womb, Powder, Pluto, MOTS, etc.


    I think the weakest lyrically are like, Moon Cycle and Nymphology. The latter is kind of a fun (albeit childish) bop, but I still can't stand behind the former…

    I checked the roster on their website at the end of October this year (around NTMT anniversary) when this thread was discussing her as "one of their biggest artists". I remember seeing her on there at the time―so she must've been removed from it recently...

    She already explained this whole thing in her 2020 Billboard interview 

     

    I started writing After School in 2017 with the intention of it being connected to K-12 as a little bonus thing, but I kept writing and so the 3 songs I intended on releasing ended up turning into a 7-song EP.

    While I don't think all celebrities have to voice their opinions and speak up on politics, I think it's great that Melanie is raising awareness and isn't afraid to stand by her beliefs. I'm still seeing shit about people like Regina Spektor, and it makes me really happy to know Melanie's been using her platform to support Palestine―she was actually one of the first artists I saw talking about it. She's been super vocal about BLM for years too and even donated + went to multiple protests. Love her
