Ahhh I’m so elated rn, after work I bussed around town to pick up the Target vinyl + CD, and snagged second-to-last copy of the indie green at the new record shop in town. And when I got home, her Rolling Stone UK was waiting on the doorstep :’) 

Like, I can’t believe I’m holding this beautiful record in my hands rn! 

I love both, so gorgeous!! 

I loved waking up with “Pick you up at home a quarter to three…” playing in my mind 

Fingertips is one of her best songs. Oh my god.

Despite the event yesterday, this feels like the first listen. I fucking loved Sweet

  I’ve been obsessed (heh) with CN since hearing it at the listening party yesterday, and now a gorgeous mv? 

Just got an email about the box set:

“UNFORTUNATELY, YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN IMPACTED BY A DELAY AND IS NOW EXPECTED TO SHIP ON OR BEFORE 4/7/2023.”

The original ship date was just the day before.

The subject and entire body of the email being in all caps scared me lmao, I thought it was going to be about the necklace and lighter being cancelled 

Hope my green still ships, though Drowned World messaged me in February saying to secure a copy from another record store because of limited quantity 

I’m still reeling from that experience, I’m not very social and haven’t done something like that before, but it was so fun! Despite how popular Lana is, I rarely meet other fans irl, so to talk about her in person the same way we do here was a trip! The first three people behind me in line were SO sweet, and fellow Honeymoon stans  And shoutout to the lovely woman that hung out with me while inside, and was the only other person to call out “your mom called, I told her…” 

Aside from no internet connection inside the building and that the album skipped for nearly a full hour before they moved us elsewhere, it was amazing to experience the new record with a room full of fans. My mind is kind of a blur, but I remember that Candy Necklace, Fingertips, Let the Light In, Fishtail, and Kintsugi completely floored me. Taco Truck was so fun to close out the record with.

It was kind of crazy to see the vibe in the room drop as the Judah Smith interlude was playing.

It did, after nearly an hour 💀 They switched us over to the vinyl room where they were playing the record starting with Ocean Blvd. That was pretty rough

I can’t believe they were herded into a room and forced to listen on tinny speakers  And that people were able to miss entire tracks yet still review the whole body of work? I don’t have any knowledge of this kind of thing, so maybe that’s standard, but even if it is wtf??

The Gigwise reviewer gets it, and is so real for laying out how it all happened. And she’s def a Lana stan lol. Lucy, are you on LB?
