    I can’t believe they were herded into a room and forced to listen on tinny speakers :deadbanana: And that people were able to miss entire tracks yet still review the whole body of work? I don’t have any knowledge of this kind of thing, so maybe that’s standard, but even if it is wtf??

     

    The Gigwise reviewer gets it, and is so real for laying out how it all happened. And she’s def a Lana stan lol. Lucy, are you on LB? :judgingu3:

    It took me two listens to get into the intro, but I like it. I think I'd prefer The Grants without it, but it's existence doesn't take away from the song imo.

     

    The piano in the beginning is so stunning, as is the instrumentation throughout the song. And I love how clear her voice is. This one pierced right through to the heart for me, her tone when singing about doing it for the family line, and the verses about Phoenix and her grandmother...just wow :crying4:

    It sounds silly, but maybe the “fame” of the IG account/being known among Lana fans got to her head, and she just wanted attention for being the first to receive merch, and the page traffic. 
     

    It’s so poorly executed, and we’re all going to find out the truth in 12+ days. Like you said, what’s the point?

    Definitely, it’s very lame tbh. I’ve spoken with the owner of that account a few times and she seemed sweet and pretty normal, I was mildly surprised to see this very fake-looking stuff being shown.

    Ordered the picture disc earlier, shoutout to our icon, Polish Sock Lady :wub: I was on the fence but the hollyhocks drawing is my favorite from the set and I’m very excited to properly display it!


    I’m so confused about the lanadelreyclosets page, what’s up with the bootleg merch being passed off as real? Or is that what we’re getting? :rip: It would be so odd for her to fake it, but people do weird shit for attention all the time. Idk what to think!
