  1. Picture it: 30 years from now we are 50-something, Lana's disappeared from public image a couple of years ago, she's been on some Fiona Apple shit for quite some (long) time, only dropping albums from time to time just to go back to the dark. Us die-hard fans still listen to her music and show it to our youngsters relatives: they love her because they were born with vintage souls just like us. In they journey of discovering astonishing Lana Del Rey they decide to listen to Chemtrails, kinda forgotten by the enthusiasts, an album they never heard about, an album nobody remembers to mention when they talk about Lana's greatness and the thrilling years of her peak. You know that feeling? When you find a lost old album hidden between recognized pieces of music? And you feel like you found something so valuable, so inspiring, so unique... so remote. Those are the qualities of a treasure, and oh! it's the best feeling in the world when you found it by yourself. It makes you feel so special. And then, finally, we understand COCC's indispensable existence and place in her discography. The meaning of it all. We are going to understand so.

I really want her to drag all these journalists, critics, and SJWs. :lmao: At this point I don't even care if it's articulate. I just want her to strip their scalps back a bit.

God I know it's not 2013 anymore but I would love some lyrics like Gods and Monsters or Fucked My Way Up To The Top. I think I am going to set myself to disappointment and wait for something of that nature :smokes3:

how hard is she willing to go?? will it be harder than uv???? will she give shoegaze? prog rock? will she finally release that track of her screaming on a mic test ??????

We NEED her to go harder than UV. I love COCC so! I love piano and yes I love soft country ballads and Joni Mitchell covers that sounds cute and dreamy. But UV is still her best (imo) and I would fucking give her my soul if she goes harder.

I’m all excited about the vinyl from the last few pages!

This is perfection! I love this colour palette so much.

I’d cringe really hard if this was the real thing tbh looks like kids’ Reputation I don’t think she should give this MUCH attention to articles enough to make them the album cover :rip: And then strike on top of it as if she didn’t care when she still made it the album cover :rip: messy all around

It's a fanmade cover just for fun :smile2:

Nobody knows for sure, we’re only speculating. Chemtrails seems to have ended with the beginning of the pandemic, but who knows when she started working on new songs that didn’t end up on COCC.

Oh, I thought she said something about it in the Rolling Stone interview... but it would be weird I guess since she's supposed to be promoting her one-week-year-old album.

  7. I experienced something almost impossible to explain last night while listening to Yosemite. I was in the complete darkness, lying in my bed, headphones on and Yosemite in full volume. I felt paralyzed, absolutely frozen, I truly couldn't move nor open my eyes. I was like hypnotized by Yosemite. I think I transcended to another dimention, rised up to a never-seen-before surrounding, a beautiful one, a better one, but sadly it only lasted those five and coins minutes. I will never forget.

    :legend:my predictions:legend:

    - the album will be completely/largely produced by Zach Dawes

    - Dealer will be on here

    - "Grenadine Quarantine" and "If this is the end I want a boyfriend" were possibly made with Zach Dawes and could be on this record

    - the genres are mainly California Rock and Country Rock but it's still Lana's way

    - the title is inspired by "Rock Candy" by Montrose, a Californian hard rock band

    - other inspirations include The Rolling Stones, especially the record "Sticky Fingers" that includes songs like Brown Sugar and Wild Horses

    - we were given a taste of the Country Rock side of the record on the song "Dance Till We Die"

    - Breaking Up Slowly wasn't the last collaboration with Nikki Lane

    insta thots?

So here for it. Your mind amazes me.

I’m down with that. I love her work with Jack, but after two albums and two audio books, she can switch things up a bit,

and giving the « poor man » a break lol (I mean, he has many projects and artists to work with lol). Plus I Love California, Summertime and Thunder.

Yeah I don't think Jack has more to offer and California is, in my opinion, the best song off Norman.
