Since you wondered why she posted this one: I have no idea if my memory tricks me, but didn't she say anything about her being pictured nude there in an interview at the exhibit? i really wish they all had little signs explaining  what their look was inspired by cause otherwise it doesn’t make any sense … the normal person is not a fashion historian and even the ugliest looks look better when you know why they’re so ugly

to me this theme seems soo hyperspecific yet broad at the same time and it also seems like a challenge so i feel like we’ll get a lot of flops but a handful of people who look good

im pretty sure the difference is partially because of the way the polaroid is warped when being held - they curve upwards so everything in the middle of the photo would look bigger
