i think OFF lanaboards the fan reception was extremely positive for NFR, on lanaboards less so i'm pretty sure. idk about chemtrails but i think ?? the fan reception off of lb is slightly less positive than it was for NFR but i'm not the best source i don't go on twitter or anything a lot so i'm not sure

this will be such a revolutionary album we won't know what hit us it'll be ultraviolence folk edm trip hop boom like that house country nikki lane down in the barnyard louisana alabama god loving gospel singing jazz heavy metal surf noir hawaiian tropic paradise by the dashboard light jukebox hip hop ragtime slow jazz all tied up in a pretty little bow with a rock candy on top the perfect metaphor for sweetness hidden by shards of bad things and its nice but it hurts and you want it but it's hard to eat and hard to swallow like the facts of life are hard to swallow and loving lana del rey and accepting she is a legend an icon etcetera is hard to swallow especially for critics when you are only seeing the ragged pieces

i was doing some digging looking at my target vinyl and maybe it was pressed by MPO vinyl plant in france french girlies it's your time! someone who has the indie yellow should inspect their vinyl too methinks

i prefer "the phenomena of lizzy grant" to "the revenge of lana del rey" but i feel like an album titled "the revenge of lana del rey" would REALLY have to serve. like either the title would feel perfectly kitschy intense and cute if the songs are perfect for it or just cringey and weird if the songs don't meet the energy that title has

PLUS yosemite is such a perfect mix of BTD production (autotuned loons, the bridge instrumentals remind me a lot of BTD) and her older, more mature, folky sound on COCC. it's a simultaneously a remembrance, a mourning, a reflection, a moving forward, a transition, acceptance – in lyrics and in instrumentals

it honestly would be a DREAM to have an intro or interlude. burnt norton for example just ties the whole record together and is one of my favorite elements of honeymoon – it wouldn't be honeymoon without burnt norton imho. it just represents her artistic vision for the album so clearly and well having RBFY or a poem (original or not) as an intro or interlude just would make me so so so so so unbelievably excited to hear the full album

my target CD arrived! i tried to cancel it like 2 weeks ago because i got the standard CD but it had already shipped but i love her she's cute so no regrets
