A lot of those writers seem to be smaller country songwriters that Clayton follows on Instagram. Maddox Batson is like 15 years old. Really interested in learning more about the writing process of this song.

Since it’s getting released in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, the likelihood of it charting/having a high debut is lower now. I guess they are fine with that though.

I think they are just guessing. It wouldn’t make sense for Quavo’s label to upload the lead single for Lana’s album.

Quavo has had successful features in the past but all his songs this year have flopped. The only reason I think this song could do well is because TikTok seems to like it. That doesn’t always translate to success though so we will see.

We should have known it wasn’t Lana’s song when we saw all the promo for it. Lana never does all that for her own songs.

Went back to see what they had said and it was this “she recorded a 3min collab with quavo recently and it might make the album so enjoy that knowledge”. So it doesn’t look like they confirmed it was for lasso just that it might be on the album.

July 4th is a perfect release date actually. I’ll take it.
