    I'd love Lana to have more recognition, but it's hard for the to see that happening cus it didn't happen with Norman, it still hurts ??

    I know you say it for me because you follow me lol, the last thing I came to do here was fighting, in these threads I have read even the craziest theories and even so I do not deny them validity, it is what someone thinks and that seems good to me, that's what the forums are for, right? to share ideas. There are some that I find funny and extreme and cus of that I don't spend my time arrogantly responding to what they say.
    At this point that kind of arrogant responses became annoying, everything everyone says here is valid, so I don't understand why x person is responsible for making people believe that their opinions are wrong or that they do not say that.

    Seriously, from the first post of mine that you quoted, you just seem like those kind of arrogant people who think they know everything, in case you don't know a forum is to share opinions or do I have to ask your permission to post what I have in mind? and if you suffer so much from what I publish then don't read it, whatIs it the problem you have with me and why do have that superiority complex?

    Most of the things we do here is ask if we don't know, make assumptions about what is to come but this person seems to hate that, almost all we talk about here is speculation, why do you suffer so much for that?

    The only reason I'm here is to share ideas or thoughts about Lana's albums or what is happening around her and the only thing I find is someone who doesn't get tired of fucking with me.
    Damn, you answer everyone in such an arrogant way that it sucks, it annoys people like that. nyways, next time I'll ask you if can or cannot post what I think to prevent you from suffering again.

    Those openers were SO fucking iconic and THAT is the sort of thing that I've felt was missing from her more recent projects. The dramatic tension. And I sort of felt it again in the beginning of 'Text Book', both the vocal and the lyric delivery; but that's why I think the song is a sort of dig at all of us who want her to continue to deliver textbook Lana songs. She's proving she can still have that impact, even if it is sonically different. NGL that's EXACTLY what I want from her.

    You are absolutely right, for her it may have some feeling to mention them in her songs but, there are parts of the song that I am listening that could hurt me and suddenly she mentions a name and it is as if everything that I could feel related to that song is gone, Chemtrails is full of names and BB the too.

    At this point we should stop looking for excuses and accept that this is the cover, I'm not going to lie to myself, I hate that cover. It almost feels like revenge from Lana for criticizing the Chemtrails cover.

     I have always had in mind this, Interscope and Polydor seem to let Lana do whatever she wants, especially in this last album (The "alleged" cover of the album and the singles)
    I feel like Lana has always had solid albums, with defined sounds and good themes, but BB has me thinking about what direction she is taking both the album and her career.
    I think that until the Norman era we saw something solid and shaped but from Chemtrails until now I see the picture somewhat blurred.


    Let's start by mentioning that Lana worked with Hip / Hop producers and ended up giving us a piano ballad with some percussion at the end of the song and no, it is not hate against the song, I really love these three singles, they are lyrically beautiful and their production I like it, but I don't understand why she changed to a producer of a specific genre (Mike) to give us something that she had already done with Jack. I do not want to sound delusional but this makes me believe that they could be having something better in their hands, Mike himself said that he will continue working with Lana; something "more" Mike (?

     

    The truth is that I don't know what to expect from Lana, the album or her career and that has me both excited and scared.

    it’s disjointed and badly worded, BLM shouldn’t be in the song as a throwaway lyric it just sounds disconnected like she threw two sets of lyrics together.

    Stop suffering for a lyrics... There's nothing wrong with it and that's it.

    I already found the idiots on duty, on twitter there are people saying that the part where Lana mentions BLM is weird or that she is "romanticizing" that ... they don't know what to talk about to attack her
