The font being confirmed by the girl who did it makes me believe it’s coming soon or soonish. I don’t think she did one for WHF during Chemtrails era; the title seems to be set in stone this time around. Both Chemtrails and RCS have very blurry timelines, which makes it very hard to confirm or not if she is done with RCS or still in the middle of it (even by her standards, to say June 1 if she is still not done would be dumb AF, but it’s not our first rodeo with her).

The girl deleted the post, it doesn't mean the album doesn't exist but I just wanted to let you guys know that

I know what you mean. I like Chemtrails, but it's not my favorite album, and I don't think it's her best.

It's the tracks that ARE amazing that stand out tho. Do they make up for it? No, because in my opinion there's not enough.

I'm not sure where I'd rate Chemtrails with her other albums rn, but it's okay not to LOVE it, don't feel bad!!!

Honeymoon is still my fav album and always will be and it's from 2015.

NFR is second though, I agree with the no skips part I just also feel that way about Honeymoon.

Honeymoon and NFR both hit home HARD for me :(((( I can't explain, but they're the only two albums that make me feel some type of way.

    Still love her others obviously.

Honeymoon and Norman are my faves too??

I definitely think 81 is a better score. NFR is significantly better to me. To me, NFR is absolutely no skips and pretty much a perfect album. Venice Bitch, Happiness is a Butterfly, and Bartender each, on their own, blow away anything on Chemtrails except maybe Tulsa Jesus Freak and Breaking Up Slowly for me.

Even though I enjoy the melodies and harmonies, Not All Who Wander Are Lost is the most uninspired I've seen Lana in her lyrics. I also enjoy Wild at Heart, but the fact that she basically reused the production of How to Disappear also ruined it a bit for me.

Even though Chemtrails has grown on me, I'm having a really hard time connecting with it - which is a problem I've never had with any Lana album. Even Sirens, I connect more with, so it's not even like I can theorize that it might just be the stripped down production not doing it for me. I recognize objectively that COTCC is good, mature, and more refined then a good amount of her past work, but something about it just isn't clicking.

Lana's music has always felt custom made for me, but COTCC felt like when I listened to folklore and I was like "I can see why people like this, and I might like a bit of it, but this just isn't really my thing. Objectively, it's good, but it's not for me." I've NEVER felt that way about Lana's albums and it's lowkey driving me a bit mad that I feel this way about Chemtrails. :toofunny:

I really felt that part where you said that you're struggling with connecting with the album cus that's exactly what happens to me.

  4. I don't know if any of you have checked Metacritic but the chemtrails score is now lower (81) previously it was at 85 almost the same score as Norman (87).
I personally think that 80/81 is a fair score for the album, when I saw that chemtrails had two points less than Norman's score it seemed strange to me because that means that it is almost as good as Norman and in my humble opinion it is not. NORMAN's lyrics and production is simply superior.
I like chemtrails but I just don't think it's on Norman's level or close to him; in the same way I will continue listening to see if my opinion changes.
    What do you think?

  5. If you ask me, I think that announcement of a new album sounds more like a mockery of "on my new album coming out on September 5" (the culture question post) than it does about an actual album release.
What has me believing that it is really a new album is the fact that, well, you know that it seems that it is fashionable to release two albums in the same year #ariana #taylor. also that the manager said that she was working on two albums for which she already had the title in mind ... anything can happen.

    Spoiler

Now that I have listened to "chemtrails" again I want to give you my opinion on this album.
I feel that the songs from white dress to let me love you like a woman sound strong, they are powerful.
After this comes wild at heart, I think the song is good, there is a part (second 58) that sounds exactly the same as love song, I mean the rhythm. Dark but just a game sounds sexy and it's pretty cool but I don't see myself listening to it all the time.
track number seven, eight and ten are pretty slow ballads, I love ballads but somehow I can't connect with those songs, those songs sound the same as tomorrow never came (or have a resemblance to that song) breaking up slowly is great and I love the lyrics.
I honestly feel that Norman is better in terms of production, if this album is risky in something it would be in Lana's vocal register because I didn't like the production very much ... maybe it will grow on me later.

This album feels like a slower continuation of Norman, I honestly want Lana to take more risks on her next album because I didn't like this one at all.

    Spoiler

Something curious about this is that the same thing happened to me with folklore and now it is one of my favourite albums, I hope the same happens with this one.
I see it as a more difficult album to digest because as I said the second half is too slow (and I have nothing against that kind of songs, I actually like them but with this ones I don't know what happens)

  8. guys, I want to share this with you. When Norman was about to be released I was so excited; Even since Lana announced the date I felt like it was going to be the longest month of my life.
This doesn't happen to me with "Chemtrails" and it's weird, I don't feel excited by it, I mean, of course I'm going to listen to it but it feels different than when Norman was going to be released.
I remember that with Norman I was just thinking "God, this is going to be Lana's best album" and with "Chemtrails" I have no feeling. The positive is that by not having expectations, Lana could tear off my wig and she could surprise me with the album.
