    Omigosh I'm so sorry, I think that was me! I just bought one :ohno: I hope he'll put up more later since they are selling so well.

    It looks like the seller prints a bunch of their own mugs so it doesn't seem very legit to me anyway though, tbh. So I probably should have thought it through more before panic buying...

     I agree, you are totally right, it is a waste of money, but, personally, I can't seem to help myself now. I think the way Lana merch rockets in value after only 1 or 2 years is what made me start going overboard. I've gotten worse with each era, it seems, as I've gotten really fed up with missing out on special editions that later down the line cost way, way more than their retail price (like you pointed out) (currently trying to get my hands on a UO exclusive copy of Ultraviolence is crazy expensive!). So now I've decided to prevent this from happening again by buying literally every variation as they come out. I'm not sure if this is something I can continue because the COCC era seems to be really milking it. Like, all of these slightly different colour vinyls are pointless, and yet I've bought every one so far. Ugh, it's like I want to stop buying every variant but can't seem to stop, haha :facepalm: :toofunny:

    I've just spent the last few days trying to find a reasonably priced version of this since seeing it on Discogs, thinking it was released back in 2012... Should have actually read the release information :facepalm: Haha
    Here's to hoping that enough people will buy this that it will get resold at a reasonable price for customers outside the US. (Really wish Target would just ship internationally, what with their many exclusives...)

    Ugh, you're probably right. 

     

    I'm really hoping the UO version will be the same as the Target and and FNAC exclusives because my bank account can't take much more... I swear if it's just the same standard album cover with yet another different coloured vinyl (like they did with Violet), I'm gonna be so mad (...at myself cause I'll still buy it cause I'm dumb).

    I believe it's only for new orders after the announcement - the signed print shows up as an item in your cart but it's $0.

    Ohh okay, that's helpful, thanks! Looks like I'm now going to have three different versions of this album on cassette alone...

    The floral crop top is surprisingly cute! So funny that each era is going to have it's own windbreaker though, hahah. 


    Okay so the UK music merch store has just announced free signed prints being sent out with all orders but I'm a bit confused as to whether they will only be included in orders placed within the next few days or if they will be included in all orders, even ones previously placed. In the email it says 'these will come with all orders while stocks last' but then on the website it says 'Be quick - These will be dropped into all UK orders over the next few days while stocks last'.

     

    What do you all think? Is the wording really obvious to people other than me? I'm just hesitant to order the album yet again when I've got about 5 different formats already on the way....

    Spent the afternoon starting to hang the Lana Vinyl on the wall. 

     

    Wow, that is an impressively thorough collection! I'm so jealous of your 12" Blue Jeans picture disc, I've been after a copy for ages  :defeated: 

    May I ask what are the last two 7" vinyls at the right end of the row on the top of your sofa? I don't think I've seen those before.

    She's not coming to the UK?! 

    (I know I can't really complain because she gave us 3 surprise shows this year, but I'm just really sad! (but also a little relieved that I won't have to stress about buying tickets at work on our crappy computers)).

     I'm so confused by all of this...

     We don't know what company is selling the tickets, have no direct links, don't even know what countries she will be in(!) and no clear instructions on whether past purchases count toward getting codes. There is also no mention of presale codes on the UK merch store, so am I supposed to fork out for shipping from the US store for yet another copy of this album to possibly get a presale code for shows that might not even be in the same country as me?? 

    Her PR team should really know how crazy people are going to go for these tickets so why can't they be more organised about it?? (Her latest shows in the UK seemed pretty well organised so I have no idea why they don't just follow the same formula.)

    Please do correct me if anyone knows the answer to any of these questions(/rants), I would mostly just like to know if I should bother buying additional merch or wait until she announces which countries in Europe she will be touring. I'm guessing these presale codes will only be for shows in North America, but that's only a guess.

    Hey! Just curious, but did you happen to get your copy yet? 

    No, sadly I still haven't been sent one. Newsstand contacted me to ask if I was happy to receive a different cover and I said I'd rather wait for the Lana one, and they replied saying it was almost a guarantee I would get it, as they were reordering her cover soon. Haven't heard anything since... Maybe I should badger them about it again.

    Have you gotten yours yet?

    I think when checking out you can choose the exact cover you want (although I'm not sure where exactly you are meant to say) from looking at other magazine listings on there that say so in the description (For example for Dazed magazine it says in the description you can "request the particular cover" or you will be sent a random one)

     

    So here's hoping that you can!

    Oh dang, I couldn't see that option when ordering :( I sent them a separate query about it, but no one ever got back to me, so I guess I'll just see what cover I end up with!

    On newsstand it's due to be sold July of next month, so I'm hoping that it can be obtained that way, if they decide to stock the issues, which I'm quite worried about as by the looks of things they haven't stocked the previous issue which "released" on the 29th of May. This is probably the only way I'll be able to buy it, as by the looks of things they don't sell it in the UK in-store. (After scouring the magazine section of Selfridges in London this week)

     

    BUT!! The pictures are beautiful, probably one of my favourite shoots she's done alongside Numero Tokyo and L'Officiel.

     Yeah, I was hoping to purchase it through Newsstand too, but it looks like they don't give the option to pick the cover. A bit annoying, but as long I get the actual issue I'll be happy.

     I love the Lana cover so much, and this is one of my favourite shoots of hers too. Pairing her up with David LaChappelle was a genius move.

    Ohh I really want this, but I also don't want to pay that price, plus shipping to the UK if they can't even be bothered to fix their lazy typos.... This could have been so amazing! But as many of you have said, why did they even bother, when they can't even be asked to make it look cohesive, nor give us full lyrics, in a supposed LYRICS BOOK.
