I think I just like lower registers better so I can sing to it. It does sound perfect the way it is.

I do have a couple small issues though- as someone said, the whole song didn’t need to be performed in her higher register and the verses would sound better performed in her lower register. It also doesn’t really seem to take off like it feels like it’s building up to- no big/loud drums, no solo, and it ends way too abruptly tbh.

 

All that said, I do like the lyrics and her vocals on the choruses

Oh, that's exciting. I'm actually in the middle of re-watching TNG. I had watched it when I was a lot younger, but I never finished it.

Also, this sounds amazing on Dolby Atmos. 

It's not my favorite. I figured it wouldn't be because I think his earlier style aligns with my taste. I listen to My Dear Melancholy more than any of his albums tbh. But DawnFM was well put together and there's a few songs I know I'll come back to (I already want to listen to Gasoline again). That outro was really cool too... I really liked that part about the flower petals opening.
