Welp… I still have a few hours before my flight back to Toronto! Last night was such a chaotic and memorable, but also amazing, experience. I got back to my hotel after the concert and felt very weird - I think someone else in this thread used the word apathetic, and I would say it’s the most accurate word to describe how I was feeling. After sleeping it off I woke up feeling better, and so so happy I was able to see her live for the first time in 6 years. I have so much love for Lana that I was able to look back on yesterday as a moment I’ll be forever grateful for.

This. I had such an issue with this as well. I’ve been to concerts in Toronto where security would pour water into cups and hand them out to people when the heat was too much - I can’t believe they didn’t think to do this, especially with the delay. It was also near impossible to move around on the concourse so even trying to physically go buy water was difficult. Also most of the stands had literal empty fridges with no drinks left. I settled for a very flat, warm Diet Coke.

I think the moral thing to do was to play a shortened show. At the same time, I literally feel so terrible for the people who left early, or got really ill, because of the circumstances we were in. A lot of people did pay A LOT of money to be there yesterday (including myself), and it wouldn’t have been fair to reschedule for sooo many reasons. I do wish the venue handled it better because my section was being screamed at to move up (even though we were covered from the rain) and there was literally no where for us to go because of all the people. We said this to security and we were still being yelled at! It was honestly insane. Overall I’m glad Lana was able to do what she could considering the chaos.

That was the craziest experience of my life, but one I’ll remember for sure. Such a bittersweet moment knowing the show was essentially cut in half. I’m so grateful I got to see and hear her but wish, with all the money I spent, that I was able to see the 2 hour show she had planned. I love her so much regardless - I can’t even imagine the stress she was going through.

Security just told me we will have a show today !!!!

So if the show is supposed to start in 30 min and the curfew is 11 surely she’s paying the fine… right????

It’s definitely pouring… some thunder and lightning just now I’m so sad I don’t know what I’ll do if it’s cancelled or postponed I spent so much money on flights and tickets and hotels to get here and I can’t imagine the others in the same situation.
