    I started a Spotify playlist in 2018 of Lana's favorite songs -- or, more specifically, all the songs and artists she ever referenced, in her songs, interviews, on Instagram Stories, songs that she covered during live and radio shows, and so on... So today, I thought I'd share it and ask if you can think of any songs I may have missed?

    I think someone said LYTAN was written way back and not for Chemtrails so what if RCS is the unreleased album with some leaked and not leaked yet songs. We all know how the most "controversial" lyrics are on her unreleased songs so that can be part of her idgaf attitude now.

    Then BB will be the album with new songs recorded in 2020/21 with Gabe, Zach, Mike... where she tell us her story finally directly from her.

    I know it's not happening, there's only 1 album called BB and it's coming this summer and probably not in the july 4th date. I just like to make theories.

    really interesting! i was on ATRL earlier and a lot of people were talking about how they've spent time listening to the new songs and they grew on them! lots of positive reactions as time goes on! Not that everyone has to like the songs but like....what is the point of complaining about her production, sound, and lyrics every single day on here? aren't you tired? can't you just be grateful that Lana is herself and she's literally just making quality music? I get wanting more but what people are wanting isn't what she's making so it's just redundant at this point. 

     

    EVERY SINGLE DAY "i want better production, i want more beat, i want this i want that" You're not her clients? I promise you that Lana doesn't give a flying fuck what you want. If you're a fan then you chose to be, she doesn't push her merch on us or beg us for steams and sales. Give the lady a fucking break and just let her make music my god.

    it's quite jarring to hear in a song by an artist like her absolutely. Is Lana singing about her life and where it led to and the people she met along the way? Yes. Has she made some missteps in the way she's communicated things in the past? Sure. 

     

    I don't find Lana to be harmful with this lyric. It's real, it happened, she was at the protests and something happened and she sang about it. Just like literally every other song she has written. 

     

    I think it will take some getting used to, but I also believe that a long time from now it will be a song that is looked back on and is noted for its relevancy. Not many other white artists sing about current events and authentically and with the emotion the way that Lana does.

    I find it so funny how much Lana has been impacted by criticism and the most criticism I’ve ever seen is on this forum, I MEAN ITS FINE EVERYONE CAN HAVE THEIR OPINION IM NOT MAD AT ANYONE ITS FUN TO READ. 
     

    some of y’all are just so harsh about little Lana and really got some expectations. 
     

    anyway! WW been really stuck in my head!! The power that song has!

    never forget when i saw lana del rey and grimes opened for her and no one knew who she was but i was LIT out of my chair dancing and all the children were staring at me terrified.

    the way i just had to read through a dozen pages discussing her selphies...ANYWAY!

     

    i'm still in loooove with these songs and they change for me each time i listen. i love how with lana's music you can listen to it over and over and always find new things you didn't hear before! she's so good with creating these ethereal layers. 

     

    WW wasn't my favorite at first but every time i listen to it i get goosebumps from the lyrics. ugh i just adore her and i'm really looking forward to hearing the rest!
