my god. i couldn’t care less that lana mentioned some dead man in her song. i simply pointed out the fact that lennon was never a symbol of love and peace, and shouldn’t be proclaimed as that.

i don’t even think it’s just jack tbh… the worst part imo was the lyrics, as well as some god awful production choices around the midpoint. not to mention, she had some bad stuff even before jack. i.e reputation

ngl i couldn’t care how big of a role lana played in the song, her vocals (what you hear of them, at least) are stunning and her and taylor have great chemistry, but the production is mid and taylor’s lyricism is just plain tacky: for instance, the janet reference on the bridge which is no less cringey than it was three years ago with the drake reference on ‘i forgot that you existed’ and it just feels like a slap in the face to lana’s artistry

the vinyl is on the website as part of a merch drop but will only be on there for a week before you can’t buy it anymore. there’s an alternative ‘deluxe’ pressing as well.
