    I think we can all agree Lana takes out her anger in a different way like

    in Fingertips she sings about very traumatic and angry parts of her past but does it in a very delicate and poetic way. This just may be her way of letting her anger out. Not necessarily screaming her head off with guitars and drums in the background like we were expecting like on Dealer or Black Bathing Suit (not that she was screaming much in that song but you catch my drift). It’s more about the lyrics than the world building like she said in the interview! At least that’s how I see it.

    The pre-chorus of candy necklace or the end of verse 3 of A&W really stick out.

     

    And Candy Necklace aint even really recency bias because it’s not my favorite from the album, just can’t deny that melody is gorgeous.

    & yes I left out Kintsugi n Fingertips (as well as the interludes for obvious reasons) despite them being two of my very faves on the album cause 1) there are only 12 zodiac signs anyway  but also 2) there is just so much going on in those two songs n honestly they are ultra personal to Lana yet also SO UNIVERSAL so i could never figure it out,,, not saying other songs aren't also but you know what...im not explaining myself further.:thumb:

    Considering the streams i think 20k if we were lucky. No way she was shipping 50-60k if it only charted for 2 wks.

     

    But this is an ocean blvd thread and this album is going to have a nice debut. Thinking at the very least 90k for sure! Cannot wait to see how the GP likes it!

    BB had 19,000 first week pure sales. It would not have sold 33k with just the streaming because it didn’t do well streaming at all.

     

    Ocean I foresee getting 90-100k debut in the USA but with her numbers lately I would not be surprised if 3-4 of the songs did really well streaming. But with the two interludes and the harder to digest tracks the other songs are gonna have to do some heavy carrying to get to 120k.
