They are almost always fake and with AI it's easy to make photos that look somewhat convincing and don't show up on image reverse search. YTH rework as lead single is unrealistic

They exist with every WordPress installation, search for example --wp--preset--color--black: https://developer.wordpress.org/block-editor/how-to-guides/themes/theme-json/

The black background color is defined in HTML and there's also a separate black image in the source code – there's nothing behind it

Old pictures should still be available in case someone else hyperlinks to it, any pictures without 2022 in the URL are unrelated to the upcoming album.

The colors appear to be Wordpress presets according to their naming.

Wordpress has emoji support and that's the source code for it, it's not related to her website specifically.

It's definitely intentional to create hype  They have a whole staging website setup and don't have to do changes on the live website so there's no technical necessity for it.
