i honestly don’t think that a&w release has been delayed and i have a strong feeling it’s still coming next week or sooner. i noticed that pitchfork has been posting a lot about lana’s various projects the past week and i don’t think they would just do that if she didn’t have something in the works

i wasn’t referring to charts btw. i brought up other artists releasing vinyls because it’s relevant to why lana could have pushed her date back. there is limited production for vinyls available due to the limited amount of pressing plants that make all the vinyls for the industry. lana said herself that she can’t just do a digital release even if she wanted to, she has to release physicals at the same time. if a lot of artists are requesting vinyls, then that will affect distribution dates

i just saw how rihanna is re-releasing colored vinyls for her discography and it made me think that with all the people dropping new music in the upcoming months, it makes sense that lana pushed ocean blvd release date back since popular artists are putting out vinyls around the same time

y’all were doubting her for not promoting this era but we have 2 magazine covers and the billboard event coming up in the next coming weeks

as much as i love chuck, thank god lana is working with other photographers this era. the mojo photoshoot with charlie scarred me still to this day 😭

i just had a thought … since lana is doing festivals again and they’re doing a more involved album rollout this time, do you think she might go to the MET Gala this year?

i just finished watching paris, texas the film and i stg the song from lana’s new album is going to be the death of me 😭 i also wonder if she specifically chose the sample because of the title (i wanted to leave) and how it connects to the movie itself (which, btw was so devastating that i can’t stop crying). i’m imagining themes of a broken family : (
