  1. Yesss! I was always confused on the meaning of that particular couple of lines “clutch of the wrist…” and this puts it all into perspective. I know she doesn’t want to talk about the meaning behind her songs or lyrics but I’d die to get all the backstories and little details that inspired her music throughout her career. sidenote: I love how cheeky she got when she asked the interviewer about asking her messy questions like if she was married, she’s very playful!
  2. girl … you need to talk to your local politicians not some celebrity who probably played in a town that had the infrastructure (and I don’t mean just the venue) for her to safely put on a show for her audience. Covering this popular song is not fetishizing, she just loves it and it’s an American classic that’s popular globally.
  3. haven’t posted on here is so long but just wanted to say that i’m so glad lana’s comeback show is in brazil. brazilian fans go above and beyond with the most insane energy every time
  4. american whore would not have been the better title and it’s not because of vulgarity in my opinion. the themes of the album expand past just sex or being an “american whore.” i think the current tunnel encapsulates the ideas expressed in the album well and i also loved the theory of the album kind of being like a journey through a tunnel, making your way to the light at the end (with it being very dark in the middle)
  5. OMG idk if anyone brought this up already but what if Dark Paradise is about Aaron Greene? I just realized the lyrical parallels between the pre chorus of dark paradise and her singing about Aaron in fingertips. In Dark Paradise Lana sings: And there's no remedy for memory, your face is like a melody It won't leave my head Your soul is haunting me and telling me that everything is fine But I wish I was dead (dead, like you) in fingertips, lana revealed how: “Aaron ended up dead and not me” So what if the person Lana is grieving in Dark Paradise Aaron? Someone tell me if I’m being delusional 😭
  6. i haven’t been on in so long but i can’t believe YTH was the big surprise. she’s so sick for not releasing roses bloom for you too 😭
  7. she’s so sick 😭 i think that visualiser is the only visuals we’re getting for this album. she’s been lurking lanaboards i’m so sure of it atp
  8. so do we think lana is jack’s favorite collaborator out of everyone he’s worked with?
  9. that’s the shape her chin has always been … look at the prom pictures she posted on honeymoon from when she was a teen and it’s the same
  10. HOENYMOON NEW POST!!! IS SHE ON A MV SET?
  11. maybe she censored it on streaming but it’s still uncensored on physical versions of the album? can anyone check?
  12. what streaming service are you guys listening on? i cant hear any of the cracking or weird noises ppl are talking about when i listen on apple music with my airpods
  13. her makeup in the love looked professionally done … mv or new photoshoot coming up?? 👀
  14. not you laying out your clothes like it’s the night before the first day of school 😭
  15. also it’s so lazy because lana has ALREADY revealed how this album was going to be very wordy in her W Mag interview from last year, before she even announced the album. They’re not even saying anything new
  16. the official release or the original version? because i think i read somewhere that lana said video games was originally a piano ballad (lol to haters). idk i feel like some of the lyrics on some songs on btd fare better with the more involved production
  17. i mean it’s interesting because in that extra write up by the girl who did the rolling stones interview, she revealed that the instrumentals to BTD sounded completely different before emile haynie worked on it, much more pop production that she expected, so i wonder what sound she was initially going for
  18. when fingertips is in my top 3 from the album but lana says it’s not good …. 😐
  19. need lana to ditch jack for ldr10 and work with jon batiste again on a dark and eerie sounding jazz record
  20. i’m so confused how mojo gave this album the same rating at cocc and bb when it’s a million times better ..
