im saying sky lead the way in the sense that she has always had taste and an aesthetic that is her own. She covered that song a long time ago, while now Halsey is just banking on the latest trend because the song has this sudden resurgence. Sky’s mom was a little much for sure, but Halsey is just so fake and tries so hard it’s awkward Anyways now that this Eurotrip is over, let’s pray that we get the DF video and maybe another single soon

I still find myself so scared to trust anything from this era but I mean ffs it’s crazy to think we have had more performances, interviews, press, than any of the past 7 years combined in the last few months. im eager to see how tonight’s performance goes. It’ll be indoor, a whole hour set, and she’s been sound checking ahead of time according to twitter posts. Really hoping she shuts all the haters up. Also capital records posted all the rave review DF has received on twitter. I’m hoping that’s a sign that more good things are coming

Some of y’all are ruthless. Like others have said, let’s be grateful she is at least making an effort. Trust me, I get frustrated too but we shouldn’t be tearing her down at a time when she’s finally on the road to a comeback. I hope that with her next performances she can just let go of obsessing about the sound quality and just be happy and give a show to her fans. i know everyone is bashing her performances but from the videos I’ve seen, she still sounds great. I think it’s her insecurities that make it seem bad, but if she could just go with the sound, I don’t think anyone would be criticizing. There’s tons of artists that are awful live but they have confidence. Sky can actually sing, and she has amazing music, so if she could just have a little more charisma, I don’t think anyone would think twice about any sound issues. let’s just cut her some slack. She’s out there trying, and obviously is very conscious of how she wants to be heard. Let’s stop mistaking this for her being lazy or ungrateful.

Have none of y’all ever watched sky perform? Honestly from the vids I’ve seen she sounded great, looked great and seemed happy. she was obviously anxious but was so happy to see her out there, being a grunge goddess. And she’s added two unheard songs to her setlists, so I’m happy. Tired of all the negativity, cuz we have all been here for years of that. Let’s keep this going, and pray she has some US tour dates to come and video soon. I agree, I get tired with there always being some sort of issue, but I’ve read that she wasn’t actually late to the festival, so idk what to believe. Let’s see how these next shows go.

It’s her first performance in 3 years, and after her 2019 Pitchfork appearance, I’m sure she was feeling really anxious. but I do want to say, she looked and sounded amazing this time. I hope that she sees how much she is loved and really slays these next performances. She did look really happy. So great seeing her back

Just noticed that Sky and DIIV are playing the same day at Primavera…wondering if that’s gonna be an awkward reunion between her and Zachary Cole Smith since it doesn’t seem they’ve been on good terms since they broke up. And they have such an intense history. Feels like 2013 again more and more everyday

Yes I really hope that Guardian, IPFR and Descending all receive proper releases, but if she had chosen any of those instead of DF, then we would all be bitching that she just released something that we have already heard. I respect that she gave us something where we could be surprised because we hadn’t heard it. Descending should def be next tho I pray

I agree that the interview still leaves a lot of questions unanswered, but her determination to not kill this momentum really comes across. She’s very aware of how she is perceived and the fact that she is talking about the album, tour, and that this isn’t going to be another Donwhill Lullaby situation is all very promising. im so proud of her. This song is amazing, like yes I’m prolly biased but I don’t know what more you people want. It’s dark, powerful and catchy as fuck

I just hope she knows how loved she still is and how iconic she is. It’s obvious she is anxious after all this time but it seems like she is finally getting the support she needs from Capital and her new PR team, so this is her time. The fact that she’s been able to pull it together to get the mv done and then her met gala appearance, she looks so healthy and beautiful. I feel like she is ready this time. I’m praying for her to keep up the momentum and also some US tour dates.

This is what I do literally every time Sky gets announced for a part in a movie/show. I always hope she will be a main and then has like a 10 sec cameo. Twin Peaks, Twilight Zone, Baby Driver…Lords of Chaos is the only one that I’d consider her part to be somewhat sizable. But I will say, she still gets the press talking about it as if she is one of the stars of the film every time

I agree completely. Both Guardian and Pray for Rain deserve proper releases. I don’t see how even sky could banish those to her dark cellar of scrapped songs. They are perfection and I can’t imagine any team allowing that to happen knowing they could make $$$ on those hands down

The song is amazing idk what y’all are talking about. I know everyone is terrified this will throw things off but with the mv done I think it’ll just get the ball rolling faster I hope and she will just drop it. With her new team, the festivals, video, and the met gala/Elon publicity, they would be dumb not to pounce on this opportunity to properly kick off this era. yes I know we are talking about sky, and yes I know I’m delusional. The fact that anyone thinks sky looked less than perfection last night should be ashamed. She looked gorgeous and glamorous. She is finally gearing up to come back and she’s doing it right. She obviously doesn’t love being in super social settings but she showed up and rocked that ishhhh. You should all be so lucky. also those who are saying she isn’t big in the modeling world…do you realize how many huge campaigns she has been part of? Maybe in the last few years not as much but she has worked with many of the top designers and labels and been the face of major campaigns. Let’s not with the negativity, she’s an icon and let’s be real…yes I’ve been thru the years of the up’s and downs and heartache that comes with stanning her, but things are definitely different this time and she’s coming. So let’s give her the respek she deserves
