I just realised how much she stepped up her vinyl game with all the different covers and variants. Blue Banister was amazing and now we got all the gorgeous Tunnel variants. I really can’t wait for what she puts out for the next album

Yes it was actually insane. Every single vinyl variant was so gorgeous, seriously!!

I remember something I heard that in 2019 (during NFR Tour) a fan wanted to kiss Lana and then Sean came and said no or something

No way… As though that’s his choices

In this post covid economy? I am not so sure :) I really was lucky, and to be honest I don't think I would ask for that now. I have been embarrassed about this, in the sense that it's a really bold thing to ask, and I respect Lana now more than I did at this point. Thank you sm!

Yeah I don’t think so either, but I’m also kinda shy. And I think there’s other things I’d rather ask her or tell her

this is so boring because people are actually asking interesting questions on this thread but @111 is going to ignore them to talk about how no one understands his (low) impact and how some other random insider is actually another user on lanaboards

There is no point, he won’t answer anything

Any vocal experts here? I just have a question.

Doesn't smoking damage your lower register and doesn't your voice get lower as you age?

I'm just wondering why Lana doesn't use her lower register more often recently,if the above 2 statements are true.

No expert here neither but I think it deepens your voice not damages your lower register. Might be totally wrong though. I think the reason she doesn’t sing with her deeper voice anymore is probably because she’s more comfortable in her higher register and feels less confident, and because she doesn’t smoke as much cigarettes anymore. The vape doesn’t really have the same effect.

She actually sings “Got a cop who turned on the backbeat” talking about how he turned on music, put the shower on to hide their conversations. Using back doors to meet her. Making her invisible. So yeah, he really tried hard to hide their relationship.

Yeah I saw the video of her singing that, but aren’t the official lyrics “God’s a charlatan don’t look back babe”??

Lana and Sean were publicly together from September 2019 to March 2020. We know between these times, his wife now would know their relationship. On March 2020, Sean announced that they broke up. Now, I think he also told his wife that they broke up. However, he was still seeing Lana secretly. Neither his wife or Lana were aware of this situation. It makes sense it happened after Lana-Sean initial break up, because Lana mentioned they were in couples therapy together, meaning they were trying fix the situation in their relationship.

I think either Sean and his wife got secret mariage together before the public January 2022 one or Lana was meant to say engaged. Him and Lana seeing each other till January 2022 is also a possibility but it would be crazy. I believe it’s engagement because she first mentioned this incidence through A&W tiktok video saying engaged.

Now looking back at Tulsa Jesus Freak lyrics, it has a whole new meaning. I think for her too. She didn’t know why they are meeting secretly, why he’s afraid of their love. Maybe he told he doesn’t want to be in front of cameras etc. That’s why she sings it before the show, before A&W

“You should come back to our place, baby
Don't be afraid of our love
    On the second floor, darling
In the second flat, hurry up“

Makes sense! “Did you know a singer can still be
Lookin' like a side piece at thirty-three?
    God's a charlatan, don't look back, babe
Puts the shower on while he calls me
Slips out the back door to talk to me
I'm invisible, look how you hold me
    I'm invisible, I'm invisible
I'm a ghost now, look how you hold me now.

It's not about havin' someone to love me anymore (oh, okay)
No, this is the experience of bein' an American whore”

I mean she dated him when she was 33. She sings about him seeing her in secret, how he really does his best to make sure that no one knows he’s seeing her. The fact that he made her feel like she was an American Whore. I do thing there’s more layers to “American Whore” but he’s definitely a part of it. Also the lines about God being a charlatan, it really ties back  to her critiquing his obsession with god, I mean she literally called him a Jesus freak…

Ugh I hate that man so much
