I know its early in advance but im dead set on getting barricade with a day ticket!!! any tips or anything thinking of doing the same thing have any tips (specific to festivals and day tickets) and what time should I get there to maximise my changes. Entry is at 9:30am but I will presumably have to get there way before

I’m wanting to get barricade too- from what I’ve read about Leeds festival though is that you only need to really get there around 3 acts before to get towards barricade.. not sure how true it is. I dont think queuing for entry in to the arena will be necessary but I’m not sure

I don't think she feels nearly as comfortable on the stage as Taylor and always assumed that maybe had something to do with it?

This! I think it’s known she’s not a confident performer, she’s got the set list she’s practiced and is settled with, throwing in random songs all the time would probably end up messy and disorganised

she’s playing festivals at the end of the day, most of her audience won’t have seen her other sets, so, there’s not really a huge drive to switch it up

    Possible new song alert?

I'm not sure what this could mean, but I was looking on ASCAP and I saw a new song called "Fly Away" was registered which says was written by Lana, Quavo, Lenny Kravitz and others...

Upon some further research I saw Quavo performed this live a couple months ago but... why is Lana on this too? Unless they recorded a studio cover together?

Quavo - Fly Away (Ft. Lana Del Rey) incoming?

    She is so random :silly:

  4. The only one that really doesn’t click with me is birds of a feather so I’m really surprised people think it should be the radio hit and in the top 5

I can’t place my top 5 as they keep shifting as I continuously listen to the album.. at first my favourite was lunch.. then it switched to l’amour la vie and now the diner is rising to the top spot

other firm favourites are ofcourse blue, the greatest and bitter suite

birds of a feather has dropped into skip status

  5. I’ve watched the interview again and I also don’t think lasso is cancelled (though maybe it won’t be called lasso anymore haha)

I think her response was to him saying she going country and she is saying that at the time it was country driven but now it’s not quite that and more in the vein of American songbook.. and she also made a comment in the other interview about how she thinks spoken word, beat poetry is going to be the next thing in music.. so maybe she’s hinting towards that a bit

I think maybe the reception to her announcing the album was cold- I remember saying that after watching the clip, but wasn’t sure if that was just standard etiquette for the award show she was at! And yeah, maybe she was worried about the public reception to her going country seemingly after other big artists have done first

so yeah, I just hope it’s still coming September whatever sound we’re getting, I was warming to the country idea but honestly, an Americana sound would excite me more anyway

This is the second time she’s mentioned the new music being in the vein of American Songbook songs which I still don’t really comprehend but pop off:agree: still holding out hope Tough🦋 will come in June even if the album is delayed

American songbook style lines with her entrance songs my my, hey hey and simple man.. which could hint to some new elements to the album.. who knows

she said she doesn't wanna do a stadium tour but wants to be with family (which is understandable) but does this mean she's not doing that small US tour she talked about a few weeks ago :ponder:

I always thought people took what she said and ran about the tour, to me she was referencing her festival run and she tried to backtrack straight away after she said it

  8. I think all her records age well because they tend not to be in line with the current trend in music.. so you don’t associate them with that tired timeframe

lasso has a huge risk of not aging well for that very reason “everyone is going country”.. hopefully it stands out on its own and we don’t think back on it in years to come as that cheesy country period everyone went through in 2024 lol

  9. Extended version of l’amour??? I need to listen once kids are in bed.. could’ve listened on my way home from work had I realised!!

it’s my favourite track on the album I think, excited to hear it
