since this thread is trending can i use the attention to ask if someone could please help me find a Lana edit I had in like 2017-ish. So it was her face edited to a body of a girl who was probably on a balcony or something and she was turning around towards the camera and holding a glass of wine. she was wearing a plain white t-shirt that had a cherry on it i think, and it was dark. i cant find it anywhere no matter what i google. edit: she also had her long straight born to die era hair

when can we expect a baby after this gorge gorge wedding

No baby she gonna just be a grandma instead

Edit Wait nvm, I feel it would be very inauthentic if she didn't have some form of writing credit.

I agree, but I wouldn’t completely disregard the song on that basis.. if she started doing complete albums where she hadn’t written the songs I think I’d start to lose interest.. maybe other artists don’t write their own music.. but I never was a fan of Beyoncé or Elton John and Lana’s songwriting is what creates that magic for me and if she just became the performer then the magic is gone

I don’t care how successful a song is without her writing credits.. it’s not like my top ranked songs ever align with the GP anyway.. that’s why I’m a Lana fan and not obsessed with the other popular artists of the era

Well, it worked for Beyonce's entire career. And for Elton John just fine.

Why the hell would she need to have written it? She didn't write Doin' Time either, and it's one of her most famous and loved songs.

No pop girlies write their own songs - Lana is a huge anomaly. So, yeah, after 9 albums of her self-written singles, we have one that someone else wrote. Big whoop.

Not totally against it.. but not for lead single. Especially not a song cobbled together by a load of randos haha

I'm praying Tough was the first single.

Love,  Mariner's, Let Me Love You,  Blue Banisters, Ocean Boulevard.... t's about time we get a BOP as the lead single. This hasn't happen since High by the Beach (10 years)

Fun fact: Tough has already out streamed all of those save for Love and Mariner's on Spotify.

Tough would also be a great indicator of a more melodic/less diaristic direction. And after 3 heaver records and a book of poems back to back, this would be really cool.

Proof: Tough is STILL generating over a millions streams per day (her 5th most streamed song overall). People love it.

She missed out having Say Yes to Heaven as a major. hit on a record, Tough should be on Lasso.

Whatever would be the second single would still sound great, I'm sure. Just like VB followed Mariner's well. Or MTWBT followed High by the Beach. Who cares about the order if the sogns are good.

I would hate a song she didn’t even write being the lead single honestly

  5. Doesn’t really matter how she’s done it tbh, just as long as stopping when it becomes unhealthy.. it’s the exact same as getting filler/work done, all for it.. until people don’t know when to stop and end up botched :toofunny:

id probs jump on the ozempic train too if I had the money and the entire internet kept making out I was baluga the whale (even though she liked perfectly healthy last year too??? Like wtf)

Does it really matter how does she control her weight? Or does it mattter how much does she weight? :adele:

No, more so I see in Lana traits that I see in myself and weight management is a tricky one, sometimes once I start the loss it’s an obsession I can’t stop. So I’m projecting really, I just care for her health really

  7. OB is a fantastic album, but it doesn’t transport me to a different world like albums like paradise, UV, NFR or even COTCC do

i guess that’s what she meant by world building.. those records I really do get lost in and they make me feel like I’m part of something different

OB is really heavy and as there’s a wide range sonically, I don’t get that nostalgic or.. “wanderlust” feeling from it. Hoping lasso can deliver on this

I was so upset that she didn't sing the bridge, and then she did this... and my tears started rolling again 🙈🤣

So true it was an iconic moment, how she kind of held her finger up to us as if to say “wait a second you little fuckers”
