I love her music as a local (have only heard Ghost EP and NTMT), but seeing the chaos of this thread makes me deeply fascinated in darling Sky and her turbulent history. There seems to be a lot of drama surrounding this woman. I don’t even know where to begin.

Never stop speaking your truth. I believe Jack definitely played a part in subverting Lana’s creativity and “Lana factor” starting with NFR (although that record has some excellent tracks). But thankfully A&W just screams Lana, so hopefully he’s learned his lesson and helps Lana harness her creativity with Ocean Blvd, rather than just trying to make her appeal to the general public to make money!

I don’t hate NFR, I love all her albums. It’s definitely in my bottom 3 though, maybe bottom 2. It doesn’t have as much of that “Lana” charm that my favorites have (but some of the songs do). And Ocean Blvd definitely has that charm so far which makes me very excited. so I don’t understand people (especially on reddit) praising that this has “NFR quality.” I don’t think that’s a good thing to aim for!

I don't think I'll get merch this era. I was very disappointed with the ldr village "shades of cool" T-shirt (The UV one with the cigarette case on the box and Molboro font). It was advertised as red, but it was more orange, and the font on the front was way larger than advertised so it wraps around my body and you can hardly read it... Anyone else experience this? I was considering the lighter, but I recently have been trying to quit cigarettes so getting the lighter may bring me back to old habits

she is releasing a project called ashmedai? The way I have been talking about Asmodeous (ashmedai) for MONTHS...

I'd complain if she did this again. For NFR, we had snippets for a huge portion of the album. COTCC was only 10 original songs, and BB was only a few songs we hadn't heard before, especially after the triple single release PLUS Arcadia. if she posts no snippets we are going to have a greater amount of new music than we have had in years.
