Don't Talk about a New Album.

It's Not about you. Lana should've been quiet and only Said Something when everything is done. We get delays and false promises every era.

u capitalized random letters... or ARE they random

    hmm

    D, T, N, A, I, N, L, S, S, W

    D, N, I, N, S, W

    these letters could spell out...

    Lana Said Wait

the past few times she has discussed Lasso, it seems that she is still sure on it coming out this year

hmm... the letters could also spell...

    Last Wins

Last wins? Maybe... perhaps... last wins-DAY, and then that would mean last wednesday

but last wednesday of what? well, what we have to look at is the date this person's account was created

suddenly, they changed their name to "WaitForLife" even though this is not the insider, Wait For Life, that we all know

an impersonation can only mean two things: you wanna be someone or you ARE someone

in my opinion, this account IS Wait For Life and is impersonating them to seem like they are NOT wait for life

and when was this impersonating account created? June. Of 2014.

ten years after the account creation will be June of 2024... next month

so back to the cryptic message... "Last Wednesday." Last Wednesday of June 2024, perhaps?

Well the last Wednesday of June 2024 is June 26, 2024: 6/26/24
    6 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 4 = 20

    2 + 0 = 2

What was Lana's second official LP? Ultraviolence. Which was ALSO released in JUNE.

Therefore, June 26, 2024 is not the date for any Lasso news or song... it's the date for the release of the 10th Anniversary Edition of Ultraviolence, including 13 (26/2) unreleased songs.

Not to mention the exact date of this account creation was just one day after UV's release. Just some extra confirmation.

  2. Just thinking about how the Lust For Life concept could have been executed SO much better. Going with the whole future + vintage idea, I don't think hip hop, alternative, and then only a few ballads was the way to go. Maybe I'm biased because of my genre preferences with Lana, but I think this is how the album should have been laid out:

"Vintage" Songs (tracks 1-7): acoustic, folk, piano-based, 60s influence, americana

Songs that could fit this category: Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Tomorrow Never Came, Change, Say Yes To Heaven, California, Yosemite, Roses Bloom For You

"Future" Songs (tracks 8-16): electronic, spacey, synths + electric guitars, art pop/dream pop

Now here are some songs that could fit in this category: Love, Lust For Life, 13 Beaches, Cherry, White Mustang, WTWWAWWKD, Heroin, Get Free, Poetry In Motion

Based on these songs, I think this could have been a great tracklist:

    01. Roses Bloom For You

    02. Say Yes To Heaven

    03. California

    04. Change

    05. Beautiful People Beautiful Problems (feat. Stevie Nicks)

    06. Tomorrow Never Came (feat. Sean Ono Lennon)

    07. Yosemite

    08. Love

    09. Lust For Life (feat. The Weeknd)

    10. 13 Beaches

    11. Cherry

    12. White Mustang

    13. When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing

    14. Heroin

    15. Poetry In Motion

    16. Get Free

  3. Oh geez, well, I mean what can I say now? What can I say now? I mean when I, when I gave Jack Antonoff his award, um, for best producer of the year, and I said, you know, in case, I said "Welcome Nashville to Hollywood and Hollywood welcome... Nashville because the music business has gone gawn country" and it went SILENT. Five thousand... people, DEAD silent, and then the next week, we had three major artists announce big country albums. So, where is Lasso going? I really have no idea now... you know what I mean??

  4. i don't think the interview means the album isn't finished

i think she has completely finished the album and when she says she doesn't know where it's gonna go, i think she means she doesn't know how the reception will be and how the album will stand with the general public as a "country" album since everything leading up to this point has made her realize it is not as country as she was making it out to be

she's just probably regretting her choice of words when she first announced the album, which is also why she has twisted the memory into thinking that people were silent when they weren't
