I agree but there's a difference between questioning and arguing against a viewpoint vs. monolithic media culture silencing or shouting down someone for a perceived slight. If someone says something is wrong, they should be able to explain why, persuasively. Excluding contrary view points or opinions is what someone does when their own argument is weak

I agree. I just know "Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing" is going to blow me away. I will not listen to tagged version, but I envision a world where every person in the world is hunched down at Lana's grandfather's feet whispering their wishes like a wishing well wishing that Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing gets played on a global intercom system on repeat for the remainder of eternity, God bless

I heard the album last night . The Grants is somehow one of her most elegant yet vicious songs (all love for her fam except Patty found dead in a ditch). Highlights imo are Fingertips, Grandfather pls stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep sea 🐟ing, Candy Necklace, Jon banisters interlude. Peppers wants to be the new Florida kilos but isn't that girl she thought she was but still cute. Everyone should be v excited, it's her best album since blue banisters

how do you know the song "Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing" includes a sample or a saxophone? can someone please share the song that is sampled? in my dream, Lana was filming a music video for the song and she was on a boat in the Caribbean with beads in her hair head bobbing to the funky reggae rhythm

what does everyone think "Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing" will sound like? i thought it would be a ballad, but last night, i had a dream where it was actually an electronic funk track with African polyrhythms and Lana was sort of lazily rapping the title over and over. it sounded pretty good, this would be big departure from Lana's typical style, surely would get rave reviews
