Yes, that is what they all say right now. It's called marketing. Reactors are literally sitting in a chair listening to music, do they really deserve to be payed? Some of them ask for over a 100 dollars per video. It's a scam.

That's how I've been listening all week! Taking walks, just sitting somewhere outside, driving around...that's always the best way. I find if I just sit at home and listen I get too caught up in my own thoughts. Being outside and moving around helps me focus and understand music better.

Why are almost all of these reactors on youtube so fake? "Haven't heard any of this" while they effortlessly mime along with the lines and pauze at just the convenient time. Does an actual authentic reactor exist? I want to know...

Why are some girls so bothered with the "Basic bitch" line in sweet? Like..if you have a problem with that maybe she's talking about you. It's just a funny little lyric and some turn it into something they feel offended by. Grow up.

I'm so sad for 'Sweet' and how it's so low on the rankings for so many. It's hard to pick faves on this album cause (to me) everything is top tier, but "Sweet" so beautiful, warm and so reminiscent of "Honeymoon". I even think if it were a song on that album it would capture the entire theme of the album sonically. It's in my top 5 on this album for sure.

I hear some of "A groovy kind of love" in "Margaret". Would not be surprised if that was a song Jack loves and fits in.

'Candy Necklace'...What a dark and brooding moment. Instant favorite. I have been wondering for a couple of days now what some moments of it remind me off, I first thought a Tori Amos song but I couldn't figure it out. Just now realized it reminded me of "Battle of trees" by Tori, but that song is completely based on Erik Satie's "Gnossienne no. 1" Lana didn't take anything from it, but some moments remind me of it. Some of the dark and deep chords seem like it's inspired from it.

Wow, just finished the album the way it's supposed to be and it's even better, obviously, than the puzzle of mid to high quality songs we had. "Candy Necklace" definitely ties the whole first half together and the interludes now makes sense. What a ride, what an album. I really hope she'll finally get her dues for this masterpiece.

Don't worry about it. It's a brilliant piece of music and if it's compared to Joanna you know it's gonna be a song that needs time and multiple listens before you can grasp it. Those who dismiss the song as a non melodic bore would not like Joanna songs. You'll be fine with it!

Hi, new here. I don't expect to post a lot but I really just wanted to add something positive in the mix. I've been a fan since 2011 and would never have expected to still be so invested in her by 2023. All her albums have been such amazing entries in her catalogue, it's incredible how prolific she is and how the quality is always up there. That said, I feel like this new album is her best, and to those who want to dismiss that opinion by saying "Oh that's just initial adrenaline" or something patronizing like that, it's not. I enjoyed her previous 2 a lot but they didn't match my absolute adoration I had for albums like "BTD", "Honeymoon" and NFR. This one definitely does match those for me. It's such a wonderful journey from beginning till end, it feels like one big warm yet emotional hug and I love the diversity. I'll post a ranking after I heard the album in full HQ friday, I haven't heard CN yet. I just wanted to share the love for this album, cause it deserves it.
