  1. Similarly to the "Cringe at r/lanadelrey thread at Reddit" thread, you can post here screenshots of funny/cringe/no context content from Internet and social media (whether it's from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook) which are about Lana and/or things associated to Lana, only. I wanted to make this thread because I have found bunch of cringe Lana-related comments but there wasn't a suitable thread for this.

Non-Lana related content is for the thread "No Context Internet".

    Enjoy and cringe! :karaoke:

While I understand the process of changing and re-doing stuff, the way she turned BPBP into a meaningless Frankenstein track to forcefully squeeze in a Stevie Nicks feature feels extremely off.

While BPBP is not one of my favorites from LFL because I find the melody too dull and I understand that some people don't like Nicks voice but in my opinion the lyrical change showed Lana in much more mature side and I actually really love the lyrics because they're really beautiful. I understand why someone might not like the song but calling it meaningless is a reach...

Otherwise, I think he is the John in How to disappear :

"John met me down on the boulevard

Cried on his shoulder 'cause life is hard"

HTD is actually about a boxer guy she dated around October 2018, I remember Elle wrote a long post about it.

I actually agree with the TNBAR theory, I had always thought that it's about Barrie but I have wondered how the music video and the lyrics (since they were written in 2016 too) look like it's about her relationship with Jonathan not Barrie. Maybe her break-up with Jonathan was one of the reasons to scrap some of the LFL outtakes too. I also agree with the Violet parallels too.

Although, I'm one of those people who believe that NFR's original name was Burnt World not Bird World because it would make sense a lot with the album cover where in the background LA city is on fire and in The Greatest she talks about it too.

i believe old money is about her past, possibly the lizzy grant era or even her youth, she re-used some elements of methamphetamines, a lizzy grant song, in old money, she talks about her family, and some of the lyrics are lizzy-esque, especially with mentions of blue hydrangea and new york city, she once said jersey nights instead of summer nights during a live performance of it, and we all know that new jersey was relevant to her during that time, that's where her trailer park was!

i believe guns and roses could be about past experiences as well, or could just be inspired by some of her older songs/older lyrical style, it has similarities to yayo

Oh wow thanks for clarifying more. I have never noticed the similarities between Yayo and Guns & Roses, even though I love them both so much, especislly G&R which is so overhated. :wowcry:

Imo, UV is the follow-up to AKA. I have always found it quite Lizzy, like more raw Lizzy, as she talks about her past experiences like in Ultraviolence track.

    Spoiler

As much as I love the AKA version of Yayo, I have imagined like what if Yayo was never reworked for Paradise but it was reworked for UV - a rock version similar to The Rich Whores version reworked by Dan Auerbach - as a last track. Just a thought I have thought :shh2:

Yes, particularly "stadium sound made in a garage" or something along the lines. So true and it makes me appreciate Jack's style even more.

I love his relationship with Lana, and I am so so happy we got Margaret. As a producer and aspiring singer-songwriter myself, I obsess over singer x producer relationships, and Lana x Jack is such a great combo. Out of all artists he has worked with, I think Lana is the one who took the best out of him.

Agreed. Taylor was the one who gave him a chance to be a solo producer and Lana was the one who brought him the world's acclaim and thanks to Lana he's more acclaimed and received more attention than ever before. Also after the success of NFR!, he has collaborated with other artists more than ever before!

I love his relationship with his collaborators. I love his friendships with Lana, Taylor and Lorde.

He and Lana created a masterpiece that's Ocean Blvd album! Also NFR and COTCC!

Father John misty said at his concert yesterday, that Lana told him the guy she wrote Norman about was really 5,8 and not 6ft as she says in the song. Is this new information? Because I’m pretty sure we didn’t know with a 100% certainty who the song is about…

I googled it and apparently he was referring to billie eilish.. which to say she’s one of the greatest living artists is very misleading too.. not saying she’s bad.. just this is definitely trying to be something it isn’t haha

Not a Billie fan but I think she's good. But again, he said that to build hype around fandoms haha
