    the instrumental is somewhat minimal w/ mainly piano (I'm pretty sure Fender Rhodes) and strings. it's very peaceful and melancholic. it's the way she's singing and the lyrics that makes it more dark for me. this might be random but it reminds me of the music a pastor would be talking over in an American Baptist church lol

    I think this might be a contender. Idk your thoughts on NFR and some people my disagree, but this feels like its true successor. I feel like you can skip the past two albums and not really be missing anything (and this is coming from someone who enjoys COCC).you can look at them and see how they influence TUOB though and it’s really interesting. It’s improving from all of the problems I had with NFR/COCC/BB and it seems that the album will be a complex work that has to be listened to more than once

    I think this is the *churchy/adult contemporary* feeling I felt, very traditional pop and comforting, like I’m falling asleep in my grandparents’ car , I love it so much

    I caved in and listened to the untagged songs:eartha: i love them omg they definitely give me a bit of an adult contemporary vibe that blue banisters gave but I LOVE IT. They give me American church-y vibes but it’s comforting and not cheesy. Reminds me of my childhood. I’m so so so excited. Drew Erickson kinda popped off with sweet im afraid. I’m thirsting for taco truck

    i’m not behind the leaks. i’m not sure who is involved but i hope they don’t post more material. 

     

    i just wanted to come on here to build hype for the album as other people have. if that was too much for everyone then i’m sorry, i tried my best to put everything in spoiler tags to answer peoples questions.

     

    it’s best if i leave the site. i’m gonna request a ban because this is getting absolutely ridiculous. i hope you all enjoy the album when you get to hear it. goodbye and love you guys xx

    - Paris, Texas is the only clear copy and paste 

    - Grandfather has added instruments

    - I didn’t know Fishtail instrumental existed but that one was reproduced, just the same melody 

    - VB is just a trap remix of Venice Bitch
