I don’t think she will do a traditional tour ever again, just because she doesn’t have to. The lifestyle when on tour probably takes a mental and physical toll on any artist, and it’s clear that Lana really loves being at home and in a bit of a routine—she is a Cancerian queen after all and we love our home life lol. Tours and long periods of travel in general feel like a disruption to the serenity and balance of everyday life. After 8+ years of touring, she’s kind of done everything she has had to do in terms of tours - but that’s not to say there won’t ever be some live performances!!

this depresses me so much but it’s realistic and understandable. At most, I can see her wanting to do what Weyes Blood did and randomly tour in smaller cities in CA (e.g Ventura, San Jose, etc) in intimate venues but Natalie has a smaller fan base while Lana’s has only grown.

I deeply regret not seeing her on the NFR tour. At least I have LA to the Moon and Endless Summer to look back to :deadbanana:

i don’t know how this works, but if i have a friend who works at target (i don’t), can they like go in the back and see if they have the cds and vinyls? or like at the beginning of march or a few weeks before hand like is that even a possibility of target having them out

I feel like this has been a topic since like Ultraviolence on here :deadbanana: I don’t think these things have ever leaked by a worker, usually they seem to leak if they’re shipped early or the cassette girl, which seems like a one time thing in this fandom

what season do you guys associate the title track with? for me it's definitely winter. it just has that pitch black outside by 5pm melancholia soundscape:true:plus I can testify to it being a gorgeous track to listen to while the snow is falling outside :true: though I don't doubt its equally as beautiful on a beach in Hawaii

& which season do you guys think the album as a whole will fit most?

e.g how honeymoon&nfr are obviously generally peak summer, cocc&bb very end of summer- autumny

maybe it's a dumb question to ask rn cause it's definitely hard to say without hearing the tracks & going off the song titles doesn't help much, rn i do have a feeling it won't even fit any one season strongly anyway, kind of like LFL imo (you have summer vibes in the title track, summer bummer, 13 beaches etc. but then some spring/wintery ones too with heroin, change, even love imo)

throwback to when I first found out about taco truck :crying4:  I hope the album gives me summer. The title track gives me the end of winter and GPSTOS gives me late spring..maybe this album will start from a sparse winter and end with a hot summer :illumilana2:

Taco truck is giving me hot summer nights in LA :wowcry: wearing flip flops, the sun is setting and the sky is orange :oprah2: cars are zooming by and it’s rush hour but you and your soul mate are relaxing on the curb and people watching and enjoying somewhat overpriced carne asada tacos with salsa verde and a horchata in a styrofoam cup :pray2: the air is warm so you take your flip flops off for a bit and let your feet dry after a day at the beach :crying4: life is good

    The real question is..

Will we ever get a masterpiece of cinematography like Shades of cool ever again? I think the closest we've gotten is the COCC video. But I can totally see a ghost-inspired vid for the title track. Her haunting the tunnels, etc

my very underrated opinion is that I need a homemade video like Venice Bitch :hair: her best imo LOL <3

confession: i haven't listened to the piano tracks she's sampling :oopna: maybe that's a good thing, so the songs will be incredibly fresh to me, i won't know what to expect when i listen to them for the first time :true:

tbh the piano tracks aren’t very memorable so I’m very interested to see how they work with them. They lowkey give me study piano playlist on Spotify vibes but it seems like both BoZ and Kintsugi enjoy them so I have no worries :hair:
