Similar to how MP4 container with h.265 codec can produce better quality compared to .wmv Similar to how PNG is the superior to JPEG. Some people still haven't answered my question? Shades of Cool or Honeymoon? Which has more reverb and hiss? Because apparently on this particular forum Ultraviolence "production" is very nice and clean with no hiss or excessive reverb. For me, all I hear is a person in a tunnel with a cold singing. Oh well I prefer Honeymoon vocals because her voice is crisp, warm, and resonated throughout the song with gorgeous layering and harmonies. No tunnel or blocked nose.

Get better headphones because m4a sounds much better even in lower bitrate. I am sure other audiophiles can agree with me.

The only "hiss" I hear is on High By The Beach. Her voice is very airy on that one.

I don't hear any "white noise" listening to the iTunes one. Production is done so well. So crisp. The clearest out of all the three songs. High is actually the muddiest one esp the bridge. Maybe you guys are listening to some bootleg YouTube version. Also I'm listening to it on headphones because speakers are horrible. You can hear everything.

Well, she has not really promote outside her fanbase. The only people know Honeymoon exist are the ones who check her stuff on a regularly basis. If she keeps doing this eventually she will fade into irrelevancy EVEN with a fanbase. Not a single televised performance since 2012 in the U.S. A tragedy.

I do not have a link. But I can tell you that there is definitely a noticeable difference especially the bass. There is a Boom boom boom sound like in Young And Beautiful, but you can't really hear it on the YT one. I feel like the YT one is so compressed that is why her voice is so much "louder" than the rest of the instrumental.

I haven't heard any big release streamed early on Apple since a couple years ago. They don't do that anymore.
